Guard
Stud
Tyrese Haliburton, Indiana Pacers at Milwaukee Bucks ($8,300)
Haliburton looks mighty spry to start the season after suffering the Achilles injury last year. Through two games, he’s converted 16-of-32 shots while dishing out 19 dimes, good for 46.5 and 40.5 FPTS. Indiana is predictably playing fast, as the Pacers are third in pace. Milwaukee plays slow, but will have to pick up in this one. Defensively, the Bucks are 26th, so Haliburton should have no issues slicing and dicing this defense.
Other Options: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($9,800), Anthony Edwards ($9,300), Donovan Mitchell ($8,500), Trae Young ($8,200), LaMelo Ball ($7,800), Amen Thompson ($7,200), Tyler Herro ($6,900), Paul George ($6,800), Derrick White ($6,700), Norman Powell ($6,400)
Value
Grayson Allen, Charlotte Hornets vs. Washington Wizards ($5,300)
With Coby White and Kon Knueppel out, Allen played 29 and 34 minutes, finishing with 31.2 and 34.2 FPTS. The usage rate was in the 20 percent range. There was another game that he only received 20 minutes, but that was due to Charlotte getting blown out by 47 points. White and Knueppel are out for this one, so Allen will likely see around 30 minutes of run once again.
Other Options: Andrew Nembhard ($5,900), Kyshawn George ($5,800), Fred VanVleet ($5,800), Payton Pritchard ($5,700), Dennis Schroder ($5,600), Davion Mitchell ($5,400), Ayo Dosunmu ($5,400), Marcus Sasser ($4,900)
Forward
Stud
Pascal Siakam, Indiana Pacers at Milwaukee Bucks ($7,600)
As mentioned in the Haliburton section, Milwaukee has been one of the worst defenses in the league early on. Last season, Siakam saw the field goal percentage dip below 50% for the first time since 2022. Through two games, he’s converting a career-high 58%. That’s likely unsustainable, but the return of Haliburton has been an obvious boon.
Other Options: Giannis Antetokounmpo ($9,900), Jayson Tatum ($9,500), Anthony Davis ($8,700), Alperen Sengun ($8,400), Kevin Durant ($7,400), Naz Reid ($7,100), Paul George ($6,800), Jalen Williams ($6,600), Kel’el Ware ($6,400), Norman Powell ($6,400), Chet Holmgren ($6,300), Jaden McDaniels ($6,100)
Value
Jaime Jaquez Jr., Milwaukee Bucks vs. Indiana Pacers ($5,900)
The usage rate is only 22.8 percent and Jaquez has yet to rack up a block or steal. He’s due! That said, he’s contributed plenty of points, rebounds and assists, translating to over 33 FPTS in all three contests. It’s a pace-up spot for Milwaukee and Indiana will likely put up a ton of points, which should force the Bucks to respond in due kind.
Other Options: Ayo Dosunmu ($5,400), Grayson Allen ($5,300), Bobby Portis ($5,000), Kyle Kuzma ($4,900), Obi Toppin ($4,800), Justin Champagnie ($4,600)
Center
Stud
Alperen Sengun, Houston Rockets vs. Atlanta Hawks ($8,400)
Baby Jokic is averaging 23 points, nine rebounds and 6.3 assists through three games. He’s shooting 62% from downtown and 77% from the line, both career highs! Fine, small sample alert. The three-point prowess will likely come down, but it’s encouraging that he’s attempting 2.7 per game and renowned shooting coach, Chip Engelland, is on the Rockets staff. All those stats have resulted in 43+ FPTS in all three games. Atlanta has Onyeka Okongwu and Jock Landale at center. Sengun is too big for Okongwu and too skilled for Landale.
Other Options: Naz Reid ($7,100), Kel’el Ware ($6,400), Jarrett Allen ($6,300)
Value
Bobby Portis, Miami Heat vs. Dallas Mavericks ($5,000)
Portis doesn’t start and will likely play only 25 minutes, but when he’s out there, buckets will be gotten. Over the last two games, he’s hoisted up 10 shots and grabbed eight rebounds in both contests. He finished with 27.5 FPTS in both games. With Cooper Flagg possibly sitting, the defense will take a step down for Dallas.
Other Options: Neemias Queta ($4,700)
