In the co-main event of today’s UFC 333 event, Petr Yan defeated Merab Dvalishvili by unanimous decision (48-47, 48-47, 48-47) to retain the UFC Bantamweight Championship. This is Yan’s fifth consecutive win and first successful title defense. Yan moves to 2-1 against the former 135-pound king Dvalishvili.

Before the fight on DraftKings Sportsbook, Yan was a -142 favorite, while Dvalishvili was the underdog at +120. Yan was also +140 to win by decision. This is the first time that Dvalishvili has suffered back-to-back defeats since April 2018. Dvalishvili finished with 159 total strikes, 131 significant strikes, 1:54 of control time, and landed five of 58 takedown attempts. Yan recorded 131 total strikes and 128 significant strikes.
