Yandy Diaz promised, and Yandy Diaz delivered. After a Game 5 win Sunday night, the Tampa Bay slugger guaranteed a Monday win to advance to the World Series. Diaz smashed a two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning on Monday night, putting the finishing touches on a 7-3 series-clinching win for the Rays. Now the top two seeds meet: the Tampa Bay Rays will take on the Milwaukee Brewers for the 2026 World Series title. Let’s look at the opening odds for the series and Game 1 on Friday night.

Opening Odds for 2026 World Series on DraftKings Sportsbook

Here’s a look at the odds for the 2026 World Series on the DraftKings Sportsbook:

Milwaukee is a solid -155 favorite after sweeping the defending-champion Dodgers. Armed with the best pitcher in baseball, an excellent bullpen, elite defense, and a scrappy lineup, they’re a powerhouse to be reckoned with. Tampa comes in as a solid +135 underdog as the lower seed.

For Game 1, the Brewers are favored at -160 on the moneyline with Jacob Misiorowski on the bump. The Rays are +132 underdogs, with Drew Rasmussen on the mound for a duel-of-aces matchup. With two elite pitchers on the mound and strong bullpen support, the total for this game is a shockingly low six runs. We’ll have to wait all week to find out who sets the tone in this World Series.
