Georgia vs. Auburn Player Prop Best Bets
Gunner Stockton Anytime Touchdown (+130)
Gunner Stockton should use his legs in the big moments of this game. Stockton loves to rely on his legs when in the red zone; he just hasn’t needed to do it much this season. Georgia won each of its first five games by at least 24 points, so Stockton was able to be quite conservative. Last week against Alabama, Stockton finally needed to make some big-time plays. Unsurprisingly, that translated to Stockton scoring his first rushing touchdown of the season.
Last season, Stockton had 10 rushing touchdowns. One of those came in the road matchup against the Auburn Tigers. Stockton should find paydirt with his legs against Auburn once again. The Tigers have some real issues on the defensive side of the ball. They rank 70th in the nation in defensive EPA/rush and 79th in defensive rushing success rate. The Bulldogs should control this game on the ground and turn that control into scores.
Byrum Brown Anytime Touchdown (+145)
There could be a rushing touchdown from both quarterbacks in this game. Byrum Brown is the entire Auburn offense. This team will win or lose based on how Brown plays. Since moving from South Florida to the SEC, Brown’s legs have translated better than his arm. He has already thrown seven interceptions this season and is struggling to read these high-level SEC defenses. However, he is still able to make dazzling plays with his legs.
Brown has rushed for a touchdown in four out of five games this year, including rushing for one in all three SEC games so far. The Georgia defense will make life incredibly hard on Brown. The Bulldogs did a great job of eliminating the downfield passing game against Alabama last week. The Crimson Tide had most of their success on the ground, including 41 rushing yards from Keelon Russell. The Byrum Brown run game is probably Auburn’s best chance of staying in this game, so the Tigers should lead on it heavily. Brown should find the end zone with his legs for the fourth straight game.
