Real Betis vs. Barcelona Prediction, Pick
This bet can be found under the “Match Parlays” tab. All Barcelona do this season is score goals. Whether it’s in La Liga or the Champions League, this team knows how to find the net.
In only eight La Liga games so far this season, Barcelona have scored 34 goals. In the UCL, they’ve scored nine times in two matches. So over that ten-game span, Barca have netted 43 times, with an average of 4.3 goals scored per game. Keep in mind, they’ve also won all 10 of those games. Barca keep winning, and they keep doing it in style. I’m not sure why Saturday would be any different.
They do have an injury concern with Raphinha, but Gabriel Jesus has been an excellent last-minute replacement for him in the forward position if their top goal-scorer can’t go. There are too many stars in this team along with Lamine Yamal, Fermín López and Anthony Gordon that if somebody goes down, the others can pick up the slack and continue to score goals.
Real Betis have had a decent start to the season, but they’ve conceded nine times in eight La Liga games which is tied for the seventh-best defensive record. That is not going to be good enough against this Barcelona attack that is firing on all cylinders. In the last five fixtures between these teams, Barcelona have won three with the other two finishing in a draw. In four of those five games, four or more goals were scored.
This is a perfect matchup to hit the over, and Barcelona look like the best team in Spain by a clear margin at the moment.
