DraftKings King of the Crease Picks for Tuesday 10/13/26

All 32 NHL teams will be in action for the Tuesday night slate, as ESPN hosts the fourth annual NHL Frozen Frenzy event. As if that doesn’t sound exciting in itself, DraftKings Sportsbook is offering another King of the Crease promotion to hand out another haul of bonus bets.

This week’s King of the Crease promo will award $500,000 in bonus bets. If you opt in to the qualifying bet token and place a singles bet of at least $10 on a goaltender and he totals the most saves by the end of the night, you win a share of the $500,000 in bonus bets. Logan Thompson was the first-ever King of the Crease winner on Oct. 3, with 6,351 bettors backing him and each receiving $40 in bonus bets.

King of the Crease — What You Need to Know

The rules of the promotion are as simple as it gets –– choose the goaltender that ends the night with the most saves. If multiple goalies finish with the same amount of saves, the prize is then equally split among all customers who placed their qualifying bet using their bet token following opt-in on those goaltenders. The fewer bettors that back the winning goaltender, the larger the bonus bet prize will be.

King of the Crease Picks for Tuesday, October 13

Anthony Stolarz OVER 28.5 Saves (-125)

I’d expect Stolarz to be a rather chalky play tonight, but there are so many goaltender options with all 32 teams in action that he may end up flying below the radar. This matchup profiles as one of the best to target tonight, primarily because Toronto’s defense has been essentially nonexistent, and Utah’s offense has been humming. Utah ranks third in total 5v5 shots, while Toronto has allowed the fifth-most total 5v5 shots against. The real allure here is the fact that the Mammoth rank third in 5v5 Corsi% at 57.54%, meaning the club is winning the puck possession battle. The Maple Leafs rank 21st in 5v5 Corsi% at 48.68%, and their defensive pairings have left the goaltenders out to dry. Stolarz is 2-0-0 this season and will try to stand on his head for his club tonight, and could see 30+ saves as a result.

Spencer Knight OVER 24.5 Saves (-130)

Knight has cleared 30+ saves in two of four starts already this season, and he’ll be facing an aggressive Penguins offense that ranks fifth in total 5v5 shots this season. The 25-year-old has been one of very few bright spots for the Blackhawks so far this season, and it’s likely that his defense leaves him out to dry tonight against the Penguins, who have totaled 30+ shots in four of six outings thus far. Chicago is tied for the third-most 5v5 high-danger chances against, and while Pittsburgh doesn’t offer the same elite 5v5 Corsi% that the Mammoth did for the Stolarz angle, the Blackhawks still sport the fourth-worst 5v5 Corsi% and should have trouble keeping up.
