WWE’s 17th annual Money in the Bank premium live event is almost here! This year’s MITB event is taking place in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the Smoothie King Center. The first six Money in the Bank ladder matches took place at WrestleMania 21- 26. When the premium live event was created in 2010, it was usually held from May to July. This is the first time Money in the Bank has taken place in October.
This year’s Money in the Bank card features Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight, plus the two ladder matches and more. Below are my full predictions, picks, and analysis for every match at WWE Money in the Bank 2026, including quick picks for the full card, followed by a deeper breakdown of each matchup.

Roman Reigns (c) vs. LA Knight— World Heavyweight Championship Match
Throughout the build-up to Money in the Bank, Roman Reigns and LA Knight have gone back and forth, making for excellent television. Since Reigns beat Punk at WrestleMania 42 for the title, he has defended it four times, most recently against Penta on September 14. Knight has received a ton of fan support and is a worthy challenger for the World Heavyweight title. But the same remains true as when Reigns and Knight first faced off in a one-on-one match at Crown Jewel in 2023. It doesn’t seem like the right time for Reigns’ run as champion to end.
Reigns has helped elevate this title, and even though he isn’t on every week anymore, having him as champion and in the Main Event still makes the most sense. It does seem more possible for Knight to beat Reigns now since the Bloodline is involved with 946. Although another 1,000-plus-day reign seems unlikely, holding it for under 200 days would be surprising.
Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight Prediction: Roman Reigns defeats LA Knight.
Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Liv Morgan vs. Becky Lynch — Women’s World Championship Match
Stephanie Vaquer got involved in the No. 1 contender match between Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch on Monday, turning the Women’s World Championship at MITB into a triple threat. Nearly a month ago, Vaquer delivered one of the year’s most shocking moments, defeating Morgan for the title at a non-televised event in Chile. Even though both Lynch and Morgan have a great chance to regain the title, it doesn’t seem likely that Vaquer would lose it so soon.
Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan vs. Becky Lynch Prediction: Stephanie Vaquer defeats Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch.
JeVon Evans vs. Kevin Owens vs. Trick Williams vs. Penta vs. Bron Breakker vs. CM Punk — Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match
This is one of the most star-studded and stacked Men’s Money in the Bank ladder matches in years. Two former world champions, CM Punk and Kevin Owens, are featured alongside four rising stars: Je’Von Evans, Penta, Trick Williams, and Bron Breakker. This match is so intriguing because WWE could go down so many different paths.
Over the past three years, a veteran has won this match, and I think that trend will continue. Since CM Punk has already won this match twice in his career, I’m going to pick Kevin Owens to win his first MITB ladder match. This is Owens’ fifth appearance in this match and his first since 2021.
Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match Prediction: Kevin Owens becomes Mr. Money in the Bank!
Jacy Jayne vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Lash Legend vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Sol Ruca vs. Lola Vice — Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match
This is the 10th annual Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, as it began in 2017. Tiffany Stratton is the only former Women’s Champion in this match, while the other five competitors (Jacy Jayne, Lash Legend, Roxanne Perez, Sol Ruca, and Lola Vice) are among WWE’s top young stars.
Since debuting on WWE’s main roster, Sol Ruca has experienced highs and lows. But her talent and upside have been evident each time she steps in the ring. With her supreme high-flying ability and moveset, she should shine in this match. Ruca winning the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match less than six months after joining Raw would be impressive and elevate her to the next level.
Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match Prediction: Sol Ruca wins the MITB Ladder Match.
Oba Femi vs. Bronson Reed — Singles Match
The Money in the Bank PLE features a must-see showdown between Oba Femi and Bronson Reed. Since Reed returned from injury, he has been on a collision course with Femi. Femi has destroyed and beaten everyone in his path since joining the Raw roster, but Reed presents a difficult problem. Reed is extremely talented, but facing Femi in his first match in over seven months might be too tough even for him to overcome.
Oba Femi vs. Bronson Reed Prediction: Oba Femi defeats Bronson Reed.
Predicted Match of the Night
My pick for match of the night at Money in the Bank is the Men’s MITB. This match features an amazing mix of youth and veterans, each with a unique skill set. These matches are always among the most entertaining of the year, and Owens and Punk should take it to the next level.
Final Thoughts on WWE Money in the Bank 2026
Although this year’s Money in the Bank PLE is taking place later than expected, it has shaped up to be a phenomenal card. Each match could steal the show, and this could very well be the best premium live event of the year.
