MLB DFS Picks Today: Top DraftKings Targets, Values for Wednesday 10/7/26

All four MLB Division Series are on the scoreboard this Wednesday, with a pair of Game 3s from the American League and two Game 4s from the National League. The White Sox, Rays, Dodgers and Brewers can advance with a win, while the Guardians, Braves, Yankees and Padres will look to avoid elimination and extend their series. No matter how the results play out, this will be the last slate with four games in a single day until 2027, so be sure to get your MLB DFS picks in and your fantasy baseball lineups set and ready for a jam-packed day of action, with the contests locking at 4:00 p.m. ET.

The weather looks cooperative across the four venues, with the highest run total on DraftKings Sportbook at 8.0 in the first game of the day between the Guardians and White Sox. With premium pitching and such high stakes, runs can be difficult to come by in the playoffs, but there are still plenty of bats to choose from as you lock in your lineup card. As always, even in the playoffs, it’s always important to double-check lineups leading up to the first pitch before locking in your final roster.

PITCHER

Stud

Tyler Glasnow, Los Angeles Dodgers at Atlanta Braves, $10,000 — The fact that the Dodgers have Glasnow as their Game 4 starter shows just how impressive their starting pitching depth is. Glasnow would be the Game 1 or Game 2 starter on just about any other pitching staff, but L.A’s depth slides him back to Wednesday, when he’ll look to help his team move on to the next round. In general, it’s less risky to go with pitchers from teams looking to advance than from teams looking to avoid elimination, since the hook has to be so quick for teams with the potential of no tomorrow.

In his last few regular season starts, Glasnow looked playoff-ready. He had 10 strikeouts in six innings against the Giants to earn a win and 30.5 FPTS, and he followed that up with 11 strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings against the Padres to earn 27.2 FPTS in a game where he was charged with the loss after the bullpen allowed inherited runners to score.

Overall, the 33-year-old righty made just 13 starts this season, posting a 3.53 ERA and 2.74 FIP. His 98 strikeouts in 74 innings still give him elite upside, and the stage won’t be too big for him. He has pitched 67 innings in the postseason in his career and has 86 strikeouts. He pitched in six games in the playoffs last year with a 1.69 ERA, 2.95 FIP and 25 strikeouts in 21 1/3 innings.

Value

Robert Gasser, Milwaukee Brewers at San Diego Padres, $7,700 — While the Brewers haven’t officially named a Game 4 starter against San Diego, it looks like Gasser will get the call after his impressive stretch run. Manager Pat Murphy mentioned Gasser and Chad Patrick ($5,700) as two options, and either one would be my favorite value arm in today’s MLB DFS picks.

Gasser allowed just three runs on 10 hits over his last four starts in September, compiling a 1.19 ERA despite a 3.72 FIP. While his ERA is probably a little better than he actually pitched, according to the metrics, he did rack up 21 strikeouts in those 22 2/3 innings, so it wasn’t all batted-ball luck. In those four starts, Gasser averaged 19.8 FPTS per outing, and he finished with a season-high 28.3 FPTS in his start against the Cardinals on September 25.

The 27-year-old lefty would give the Padres a little different look after the Brew Crew started three straight righties to start the series. It would give Gasser a chance to pitch his team past the team that traded him away as a prospect. The Padres included Gasser in the trade for Josh Hader in August of 2022, and it would be a full-circle moment for him if he does get the start on Wednesday night at Petco, with a chance to eliminate his former team.

INFIELD

Stud

1B Freddie Freeman, Los Angeles Dodgers at Atlanta Braves, $5,000 — One of the few things more impressive than the Dodgers starting pitching depth has been Freeman’s continued ability to deliver in the clutch. After struggling down the stretch in the regular season, the 37-year-old veteran has rediscovered his groove in the first three games of the series against his former team from Atlanta.

Freeman has homered in each of the last two games of this series and is 4-for-11 (.364) with 13.3 FPTS per game in the series. He also is in a great matchup for him against righty Tyler Mahle ($7,500), who has been very good lately. Freeman has crushed Mahle in the past, though, going 8-for-19 (.421) with a home run. The break after the regular season seems to have rejuvenated Freeman’s bat, and the proven playoff performer is a piece to build around again in Game 4 in Atlanta.

Value

SS Brayan Rocchio, Cleveland Guardians at Chicago White Sox, $3,200 — The Guardians should be in a good spot to get their offense going with the White Sox opening with Sean Newcomb ($4,000) and following him with Davis Martin ($6,600), who struggled and was injured down the stretch. The White Sox will rely heavily on their bullpen, which is why this game has the highest over/under on the slate. Rocchio is an affordable way to get a piece of the Guardians offense and brings a high ceiling if you are looking to go cheap at shortstop in your MLB DFS picks.

While he has gone 0-for-5 with a walk in the first two games of the series, Rocchio finished the season on a nice roll. He went 13-for-38 (.342) over his last 11 games of the regular season with four doubles, two home runs, and two stolen bases. He usually hits ninth in the order and often gets on base in front of the big bats at the top of the Guardians’ order.

OUTFIELD

Stud

Jackson Chourio, Milwaukee Brewers at San Diego Padres, $5,700 — The Brewers’ lineup should be in a good spot to attack as they face Walker Buehler ($6,300) and look to move on to the next round. Chourio has been one of th estars of the postseason run already, with 16 FPTS in Game 1 and 9.0 FPTS in Game 2, coming up with key hits in each of Milwaukee’s victories. While he’s still only 22 (15 years younger than Freeman), he already has a great playoff history, hitting .304 with five homers and a .953 OPS across his 15 postseason games.

Chourio also finished five home runs and nine stolen bases in September while hitting .337 with a .398 wOBA. The dual-threat option at the top of the Brewers’ order should be a good pay-up spot to start your lineups for Wednesday, and he brings a high ceiling from the final game of the night, keeping your lineup alive throughout the entire slate.

Value

Spencer Jones, New York Yankees vs. Tampa Bay Rays, $3,200— Jones had 19 FPTS in his two games in the Wild Card series against the Red Sox after putting together a strong stretch run while helping the Yankees fill in for the absence of Aaron Judge. The big lefty hits in the heart of the order and brings a high ceiling since he has so much power potential in the Bronx against Nick Martinez ($7,000) and the Rays.

Jones went 0-for-7 in the first two games of this series in the Trop, but he’ll be one of many Yankees’ bats looking to get back on track as the series shifts to Yankee Stadium for Game 3. Jones posted a 53.8% hard-hit rate and a 15.2% barrel rate after his arrival in the majors, after he tore up Triple-A with a 25.6% barrel rate before his promotion. He does still have lots of swing-and-miss potential, but when he runs into one, it can be a huge boost to your fantasy lineup since he comes at such an affordable salary in today’s MLB DFS picks.
