Two Flyweight prospects, Roque Conceicao and Alexander Chavez, will face off on tonight’s episode of Dana White’s Contender Series. Conceicao is 11-3 with 10 finishes in his MMA career, while Chavez is undefeated at 9-0. As always, DWCS will take place at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dana White’s Contender Series starts at 7:00 p.m. ET on Paramount+.

Alexander Chavez Moneyline (-112)

Since beginning his professional MMA career in February 2024, Chavez has won nine fights, with six coming by knockout. In 2023, Chavez won six fights, including five knockouts, as an amateur. Chavez scored a second-round knockout against Francisco Neves in his last fight in April. 

Meanwhile, this is Conceicao’s second appearance on Dana White’s Contender Series. Conceicao suffered a first-round knockout loss to Imanol Rodriguez on DWCS in October 2025. Rodriguez is an impressive prospect as well, and most recently scored a finish over Alden Coria at UFC 332 this past weekend. Since fighting on DWCS, Conceicao picked up a first-round knockout win over Yamato Fujita. Conceicao enters this bout with a 4-1 record in his previous five contests. 

In this bout, Chavez is a -118 favorite with Conceicao as a slight underdog at -102 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The over/under is 1.5 rounds, with the over at -145 and the under at +114. This contest is -275 not to last 15 minutes and +200 to go the distance. 

Although Conceicao is skilled, he has holes in his game that have led to three career losses. Last time Conceicao was on DWCS, he couldn’t keep up with Rodriguez’s fast pace, and his defense wasn’t good enough. I give the edge to Chavez in this fight because he has shown he can win early and in later rounds as well.
