Prediction, pick for Salhahuddin Everett vs. Ozzy Martin at DWCS Season 10, Week 9

Salhahuddin Everett faces Ozzy Martin in the co-main event of tonight’s episode of Dana White’s Contender Series at the Meta Apex. This matchup pits two 4-0 prospects against each other, as Everett has four first-round finishes, and Martin has four knockouts. Everett and Martin both have a perfect style for DWCS, which should make for an excellent fight.

Check out my best bet below for Salhahuddin Everett vs. Ozzy Martin at tonight’s edition of Dana White’s Contender Series.

Salhahuddin Everett to Win by KO/TKO/DQ or Submission (-120)

Salhahuddin Everett has an interesting background, as he started as a UFC employee working for Dana White before earning an opportunity on DWCS. This is Everett’s fourth fight since he began his professional MMA career 13 months ago. Including his amateur career, Everett is 8-0 with eight finishes. Dana White previously admitted that he isn’t normally biased, but it would be hard not to be when watching Everett.

Martin’s first fight in 2026 came against Ryan Jett, whom he knocked out in the first round at Cage Titans 77. In the last year, Martin has also picked up a kickboxing win and a boxing win. So although he has only four MMA fights, Martin has more experience than it appears.

In this contest on DraftKings Sportsbook, Everett is the favorite at -135, with Martin at +114. Everett is -120 to win by finish, while Martin is +150 to win by knockout or submission. This bout is -900 not to go the distance.

Everett has the physical advantage, as he is three inches taller than Martin (6’3″ vs. 6’0″). Although Everett still works at the UFC, he has earned this opportunity by building an impressive resume. Both fighters have identical records, but I favor Everett in this bout because of his versatility. Everett has shown the ability to finish opponents on the feet and on the ground, which is impressive. Since all four of these wins have come by finish, I’m taking Everett at -120 to win by KO/TKO/DQ or submission.
