AEW Dynamite is on Tuesday this week. AEW Grand Slam: France takes place on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from Adidas Arena in Paris, France, as Dynamite moves from its usual Wednesday night time slot due to the MLB playoffs. The historic show will mark AEW’s first live event in France, with both Dynamite and Collision being taped from Paris.
AEW has loaded up the Grand Slam: France card with four championship matches, headlined by AEW World Champion Will Ospreay defending against AEW International Champion Kazuchika Okada. Mercedes Moné will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Queen Aminata, Darby Allin puts the TNT Championship on the line against Kyle Fletcher, and ROH World Champion Bandido will face Kofi.
Jungle Jack Perry will also face Samoa Joe in a Clockwork Carnage qualifying match, while Chris Jericho goes one-on-one with Nick Wayne. We’ll have all the latest updates right here on DraftKings Network ahead of Tuesday’s special edition of AEW Dynamite.
Below is our full AEW Grand Slam: France preview for October 6, 2026, including the confirmed match card and predictions.
AEW Grand Slam: France Match Card & Predictions
Here’s the currently announced card for AEW Grand Slam: France on Tuesday, October 6. AEW will tape both Dynamite and Collision from Paris.
| Match | Championship / Stipulation | Prediction |
|---|---|---|
| Will Ospreay (c) vs. Kazuchika Okada | AEW World Championship | Will Ospreay |
| Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Queen Aminata | AEW Women’s World Championship | Mercedes Moné |
| Darby Allin (c) vs. Kyle Fletcher | TNT Championship | Darby Allin |
| Bandido (c) vs. Kofi | ROH World Championship | Bandido |
| Jungle Jack Perry vs. Samoa Joe | Clockwork Carnage Qualifier | Samoa Joe |
| Chris Jericho vs. Nick Wayne | Singles Match | Nick Wayne |
Will Ospreay (c) vs. Kazuchika Okada – AEW World Championship
There’s a ton of history between Ospreay and Okada, but this will only be their second singles match since both joined AEW. Their first came in the finals of the 2024 Continental Classic at Worlds End, where Okada defeated Ospreay to win the tournament. If we go beyond AEW, the history becomes even more one-sided, as Ospreay owns just a 2-9 singles record against Okada.
This will be Ospreay’s second defense of the AEW World Championship after defeating Jon Moxley at All Out. Ospreay won the title from Kenny Omega at All In: London in August and has immediately been thrown into some massive matches. Okada presents another major test, and this will actually be his first opportunity to challenge for the AEW World Championship.
Despite Okada’s history of success against Ospreay, I don’t see the title changing hands in Paris. Ospreay’s reign is still just getting started, and after finally getting over the hump against Moxley at All Out, beating someone who has dominated him throughout his career feels like another logical step in establishing Ospreay as AEW’s top guy.
Will Ospreay vs. Kazuchika Okada Prediction: Will Ospreay retains the AEW World Championship
Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Queen Aminata – AEW Women’s World Championship
This will be Mercedes Moné’s first singles match since defeating Willow Nightingale at All In to become AEW Women’s World Champion. Moné suffered a broken nose during that match, which ultimately kept her out of action at All Out. She returned to the ring last week in a trios match while wearing a protective face mask, and now she’ll make her first defense since returning to singles competition.
Moné and Aminata aren’t strangers to each other, either. They previously met one-on-one in AEW back in 2024, when Moné defeated Aminata while defending the TBS Championship. Two years later, Aminata gets another opportunity against Moné, this time with the AEW Women’s World Championship on the line.
I don’t see Moné dropping the title here, especially with her WrestleDream title defense against Thekla already waiting for her. Aminata should give her a good first singles test since returning from the broken nose, but this feels like a straightforward title defense for Moné before moving on to her next major program.
Mercedes Moné vs. Queen Aminata Prediction: Mercedes Moné retains the AEW Women’s World Championship
Darby Allin (c) vs. Kyle Fletcher – TNT Championship
This will be Darby Allin’s third defense of the TNT Championship since winning the title at All In. He’s already successfully defended against Mark Davis and Myron Reed, with Reed giving Allin a particularly tough test before eventually falling to the Coffin Drop. Now, Allin gets a challenger with a very legitimate claim to the championship.
Kyle Fletcher never actually lost the TNT Championship in the ring. His second reign ended when he was forced to relinquish the title because of injury, and now he’ll finally get an opportunity to win it back. Despite both men being major parts of AEW for years, this will also be the first singles match between Allin and Fletcher.
There’s definitely a case for Fletcher here, especially with the story of reclaiming a championship he never lost. Still, I’m sticking with Allin. His third TNT Championship reign is still relatively young, and I don’t think we’re at the end of it yet. Fletcher should give him one of his toughest defenses so far, but I’m taking Allin to leave Paris with the title.
Darby Allin vs. Kyle Fletcher Prediction: Darby Allin retains the TNT Championship
Bandido (c) vs. Kofi – ROH World Championship
Kofi gets an opportunity to add singles gold to what has already been a massive start for The New Level in AEW. However, Bandido has established himself as one of the top names in Ring of Honor, and I don’t see his title reign ending here. This should be a fun matchup in Paris, but I’m sticking with the champion.
Bandido vs. Kofi Prediction: Bandido retains the ROH World Championship
Jungle Jack Perry vs. Samoa Joe – Clockwork Carnage Qualifier
There’s plenty at stake here, as the winner will advance to the Clockwork Carnage World Championship match at WrestleDream. Perry and Joe are both believable options to advance, but I’m siding with Joe. Putting someone with his history and credibility into a World Championship match immediately makes the WrestleDream field even more interesting.
Jungle Jack Perry vs. Samoa Joe Prediction: Samoa Joe advances to the Clockwork Carnage Match
Chris Jericho vs. Nick Wayne – Singles Match
Jericho defeated Wayne when these two met on Dynamite in September, but I don’t think this program ends with Jericho winning both matches. At 21 years old, Wayne has far more to gain from getting a win back over Jericho, and this feels like the right spot to give him that victory.
Chris Jericho vs. Nick Wayne Prediction: Nick Wayne earns the victory
What Is the AEW Clockwork Carnage Match?
AEW will debut the Clockwork Carnage Match at WrestleDream with the AEW World Championship on the line. The match will feature eight wrestlers competing across two stages, with qualifiers determining who enters the field.
The match begins with two wrestlers selected at random. Another randomly selected competitor will enter every three minutes until all eight wrestlers have entered. During this portion of the match, any wrestler who is pinned or submits is eliminated.
Once the eighth and final wrestler enters, the format changes to a 15-minute scoring period. Every pinfall or submission during those 15 minutes counts as one fall, and the wrestler with the most falls when time expires wins the match and the AEW World Championship.
