UPDATE: Saquon Barkley has officially been ruled out for the remainder of today’s Eagles vs. Rams game due to the hamstring injury he sustained.
Barkley left today’s matchup with the Rams and is being evaluated for a lower-leg injury. The former Offensive Player of the Year pulled up lame after a six yard rushing gain during the second offensive possession by the Eagles.
It has not been a smooth start to the season for the three-time Pro Bowl running back. Barkley was limited to just four rush attempts for nine yards last week after dealing with a stinger. Through the opening three weeks overall, the former Super Bowl champion has tallied just 174 total rushing yards and has yet to record his first touchdown of the season.
Prior to leaving today’s game, he has tallied just two rush attempts for eight yards and added one reception for a two-yard gain. He has since been taken to the locker room for further evaluation.
Stay tuned to DK Network for live updates on his injury status.
