Notre Dame vs. North Carolina player props
CJ Carr 3+ passing touchdowns (+233)
The quarterback play Notre Dame has gotten from CJ Carr is quite impressive. This season, he’s completed 70.5% of his throws for 963 yards and nine touchdowns to just one interception, shredding opposing defenses with efficiency. The Fighting Irish aren’t a pass-happy team by any means with just 28.0 pass attempts per game, however, the signal-caller continues to put up numbers even despite his semi-limited volume. He threw for two touchdowns in the opener against Wisconsin – which just upset Penn State last week – tossed four touchdowns against Rice and logged three last week against Purdue. Carr isn’t likely to see a ton of attempts since Notre Dame is a 21-point favorite… but also, Notre Dame is a 21-point favorite. This team should score plenty of points against a North Carolina defense that has really good numbers, but hasn’t seen an opponent near this caliber yet in 2026. I like three passing scores for Carr as he shreds this defense.
Billy Edwards 160+ passing yards (+101)
As mentioned above, the Tar Heels aren’t expected to be competitive in this game as a 21-point underdog at home. Usually, that would spell concern. In this spot, though, Billy Edwards can still get to this very low passing line thanks to the game script his team will likely operate within. North Carolina should trail for the entirety of this game, leading to increased passing volume for the quarterback. The Tar Heels average 28.0 attempts per game, and Edwards hasn’t looked stellar with a 56.4% completion rate and 611 yards. However, consider that he’ll be playing catch-up throughout Saturday’s contest against one of the best teams in the nation. Even with Notre Dame allowing just 145.5 passing yards per outing, there’s room for this line of 160+ passing yards for Edwards to cash. The Wisconsin transfer reached that mark in two of his three starts for UNC thus far with 232, 244 and 135 passing yards.
