Mississippi State vs. Alabama Player Prop Best Bets
Fluff Bothwell 80+ Rushing Yards (+105)
Kamario Taylor has stolen all the headlines in Starkville this season. His electric play has brought Mississippi State into the top 25. However, running back Fluff Bothwell plays an integral role in providing balance to the Bulldogs’ offense. Bothwell keeps opposing defenses honest and requires them to respect the run game, which opens the downfield looks for Taylor.
Bothwell has rushed for over 100 yards in all three Power Four matchups Mississippi State has played in so far this season. He is coming off a season-best 122-yard performance against Missouri last week. Two weeks ago, FSU’s Ousmane Kromah rushed for 80 yards against the Crimson Tide. Last week, South Carolina’s Matt Fuller rushed for 112 yards against Alabama. Bothwell should make it three straight weeks that the opposing running back rushes for 80+ yards against the Crimson Tide.
Ryan Coleman-Williams Anytime TD (+125)
Ryan Coleman-Williams has had a rollercoaster of a college career. He was a freshman phenom for Alabama in 2024 and was right alongside Jeremiah Smith, expected to be one of the best receivers in the country over the next couple of seasons. Smith has lived up to those expectations and more, while Coleman-Williams has had much more adversity. He was very boom-or-bust last season, and had some drop problems that persisted into the beginning of this season.
However, Coleman-Williams has looked much more confident the past two weeks. Against Florida State, he went for 62 yards and a touchdown. Last week against South Carolina, Coleman-Williams went for 98 yards and two touchdowns. He is a great deep-ball threat and could get over the top of the Mississippi State secondary in this one.
Missouri’s standout receiver, Cayden Lee, had 11 catches for 156 yards and two scores last week against the Bulldogs. The week prior, South Carolina hit multiple deep shots downfield. Mississippi State now ranks 82nd nationally in defensive EPA/pass. Ryan Coleman-Williams should have a big game in this matchup, which should be a shootout between two great offenses.
