Week 3 concludes on Monday Night Football with a showdown between the Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles. This could’ve been one of the best games of the week, but the quarterback situation for the Bears does raise some eyebrows as Case Keenum is expected to start under center in Caleb Williams’ absence. Thankfully, he’ll have some excellent receiving weapons to throw to, including wideout Rome Odunze.

Here are the best Rome Odunze prop bets for Bears vs. Eagles on Monday Night Football in Week 3.

Best Rome Odunze prop bet for Bears vs. Eagles

The Bears are without star quarterback Caleb Williams tonight as he manages a hamstring strain suffered late in last week’s game. Of course, that lowers the ceiling for this entire offense, but it’s worth noting that the team seems to be going in a bit of a different direction with the backup decision, too. Typically, Tyson Bagent would step in as the starter, but he’s coming off a concussion and won’t be under center despite being cleared to play. Instead, 38-year-old veteran Case Keenum will start at quarterback. It’s something of a confusing choice, but he impressed during the preseason slate with a 62.5% completion rate, 354 passing yards and two touchdowns. The question becomes whether he can replicate something close to that in a meaningful game.

He does have some excellent weapons he’ll be throwing to. The trio of Colston Loveland, Luther Burden and Rome Odunze are yet to put up numbers, but there’s a ton of talent among the pass-catching group. The latter hasn’t yet popped off in 2026, but he did show plenty of potential last season even though he dealt with injury. He caught 44 passes for 661 yards and six touchdowns, nearly matching his rookie-season production despite playing five fewer games. Through his two matchups this year, he has just five grabs for 95 yards on seven targets, but there are some positives in his profile. He ranks 13th in separation score and has already ripped off a couple of deep receptions, and while he battled injury in Week 1, his route share normalized in Week 2 at 81.0%.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Odunze’s player prop bet lines are set at just O/U 2.5 receptions and 25.5 yards with 475 odds for an anytime touchdown. The Bears are also a 3.5-point underdog with the total set at 41.5 combined points.

Those lines are low, but it makes sense that they’re on the decline given both Odunze’s lack of production this season and the quarterback who’ll be throwing to him. There’s definitely room for him to go over both of those marks, though it may not be pretty.

The Eagles’ defense ranks in the middle of the pack in zone rate so far this season, sitting 20th at 74.2%. That has them 18th in man rate at 17.7% – man coverage is what Odunze is better at beating. That’s something of a neutral factor tonight, but it’s worth noting that he’s actually first among all of Chicago’s wideouts with a 68.8% route rate despite being somewhat limited in Week 1. He’s going to be on the field, especially in a game where the Bears may wind up trailing early and playing from behind with a pass-happy game script.

Odunze has just seven targets in two games, but that ranks third on the roster even if we include the tight ends. He may not get loose for a massive gain on a deep ball downfield like he would if Williams were active, but he’s still seeing plenty of routes in the intermediate areas of the field with a few chances in the short game sprinkled in via crossers and slants. With a very solid separation score and the potential for greater passing volume than usual tonight if the Bears fall behind early – especially with Philadelphia ranked fourth in defensive EPA/rush so far – I do think Odunze can catch at least three balls at plus value.

Best Bet: Rome Odunze over 2.5 receptions (+115)
