The PGA TOUR is back in action with an individual, full-field tournament in Utah after last week’s team event at the Presidents Cup. This will be the third straight fall that the PGA TOUR visits the picturesque Black Desert Golf Course, in southern Utah’s red rock mountains. In each of the last two trips, a player claimed their first PGA TOUR win. Players will be competing for critical FedExCup points and a share of the $6 million purse, which awards a $1,080,000 payout to the winner.
The event is the second of the eight tournaments in the FedExCup Fall, which gives players a chance to improve their status heading into next season, which will be especially important with a new schedule coming in 2028. The changes should bring plenty of drama throughout 2027, and the FedExCup Fall is always a great chance to get to know some of the new players who will be joining the PGA TOUR in the future.
