Two weeks in, and it’s already absolute chaos across the NFL. Injuries are taking their toll, especially at the quarterback position. As a result, several offenses across the league enter Sunday with a second-stringer elevated to starter status. Nasty weather across the Northeast could also play a role in several matchups this weekend. Still, uncertainty also breeds opportunity; there are hidden gems available for fantasy football managers.
Which under the radar names are worth targeting? Here are three sleepers that could help you win a DraftKings DFS or season-long fantasy matchup.

Fantasy Football Week 3 Sleepers: Best Players to Start
RB Rachaad White, Washington Commanders vs. SEA ($5,100)
Prior to Week 2, this Washington backfield was already an enigma. That’s only been exacerbated by last Sunday’s injury to quarterback Jayden Daniels (elbow). It’ll be Marcus Mariota ($4,500) under center for the Commanders vs. Seattle. A backup going against the defending Super Bowl champions? It’s not your typical recipe for fantasy success. With that being said, Mariota is one of the NFL’s better second-stringers. In addition, the game script seems to favor White over fellow running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt ($5,300). Where the latter is a more traditional runner, the former is an excellent pass catcher. Should Washington trail early, more work through the air would be necessary.
That was the case during Week 2’s defeat in Dallas. After trailing early, Mariota was more than willing to gain chunk yardage via dump off passes. That led to a six-catch outing from White, who tallied 14.3 FPTS in total. A similar showing is more than reasonable during this Sunday’s matchup. Keep in mind, the Seahawks allowed an NFL-worst 97 receptions to opposing running backs last season. White logged 52% of Washington’s snaps on offense vs. the Cowboys; JCM only garnered 37%. A similar workload this weekend would set the veteran up as a quality flex option vs. Seattle.
WR Kayshon Boutte, Houston Texans at IND ($4,500)
Nico Collins (hamstring) will miss a second straight game, crushing news for Houston’s offense. The Texas looked stagnant last week, racking up just six points vs. Cincinnati. Expect a better effort on Sunday against a mediocre Indianapolis defense. The Colts are giving up the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season. It’s not as if this is a blip on the radar; their secondary struggled in 2025 as well. Last season, Indy allowed the NFL’s tenth-most yards per completion to opposing quarterbacks (10.6 YPC).
If anyone is poised for a big play or two on Sunday, it’s Kayshon Boutte. The former Patriots wideout is the definition of all or nothing. However, aiming for upside isn’t a bad thing in fantasy football, especially at this price. During his last two years in New England, Boutte averaged 15.0 yards per reception while hauling in nine touchdowns. Granted, it’s been a slow start for the 24-year-old with his new squad. Through two games, he’s only recorded a combined four catches for 57 yards. However, he played a promising 73% of Houston’s snaps on offense in Week 2 without Collins. Should that usage continue, another standout performance wouldn’t come as a surprise. Texans quarterback CJ Stroud ($5,500) is averaging an impressive 268.7 passing yards per game over six career meetings with Indianapolis. Should he enjoy another productive day through the air, Boutte would be poised to take advantage.
TE Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens vs. DAL ($4,400)
A marquee matchup is on tap in Brazil. The Ravens come into Sunday’s contest with some uncertainty. Even if wide receiver Zay Flowers ($6,900) suits up, he’ll likely operate on a snap count. If that occurs, several other Baltimore pass catchers should see an expanded workload. Among those names, Mark Andrews stands to benefit the most. The franchise mainstay is a safety blanket for quarterback Lamar Jackson ($7,500). Last weekend vs. New Orleans, he caught six passes for 49 yards (10.9 FPTS).
Former backup Isaiah Likely ($4,700) is gone, giving Andrews more playing time this season. Last week, he logged 73% of Baltimore’s snaps on offense. However, the biggest knock for the 31-year-old is an inability to find the end zone. He’s only scored five touchdowns over his previous 19 games. That’s not the end of the world; Andrews’ work between the 20s provides a solid floor. To boot, touchdowns are the most volatile fantasy football statistic. This Cowboys defense has looked unimpressive, especially during Week 1 against the Giants. None other than Likely scored twice against Dallas; could his former teammate find pay dirt in Week 3? At just $4,400, it’s worth finding out.
