Bryan Woo, Seattle Mariners vs. Los Angeles Angels ($8,500) — Through 167.2 innings, Woo has a 3.27 FIP and 19.2 K-BB%. He’s been much better at home with a 2.65 FIP compared to 3.79 on the road while the K-BB% is 8.4% higher. He’s allowed only six home runs at home. Now he hosts an Angels team that is second in strikeouts, 29th in ISO, dead-last in wOBA and 27th in wRC+.

Grayson Rodriguez, Los Angeles Angels ($5,500) — If Woo’s numbers are heavenly, then Rodriguez is the devil. Woo is good. Rodriguez is bad. Woo is light. Rodriguez is dark. That said, Rodriguez is very cheap, averages 96.1 mph on the fastball and sports a 19.7 K-BB%. He’s also been slightly better on the road and has put up double-digit FPTS in nine of the last 10 games, with a high of 27.6 FPTS. Seattle is seventh in strikeouts, 24th in ISO and 28th in wOBA while T-Mobile Park is pitcher-friendly. It’s a good spot, especially when factoring in the cost.

Isaac Paredes, Houston Astros at Athletics ($4,600) — Paredes has 23 home runs, 65 runs and 91 RBI in 636 plate appearances. The average exit velocity is only 86 mph while the barrel rate is 5% and the bat speed is only 67.2 mph. That said, the launch angle is 24.2 degrees and he pulls the ball 57.6% of the time. He’s been good against right-handed pitching, hitting 19 home runs while slashing .257/.362/.439 with a .181 ISO and 120 wRC+. Now he gets to bat in Sacramento against Mason Barnett, who is allowing an average exit velocity of 89.7 mph, launch angle of 17.1 degrees and a barrel rate of 9%. Against righties, the FIP is 7.1 with seven home runs allowed. At home, eight home runs have been allowed while the FIP is 7.81. The sample sizes are both small, though, of around 20 innings.

David Fry, Cleveland Guardians at Boston Red Sox ($2,400) — Fry has been playing against left-handed pitching, so it’s likely that he gets the start on Thursday. Since being recalled on August 25, Fry is slashing .241/.353/.414 with an 8.8% walk rate, 17.6% strikeout rate and .172 ISO. The average exit velocity is 88.9 mph with a 22.2 degree launch angle. He’s produced fantasy goodies in six straight with two of those in double-digits.
OUTFIELD

Michael Harris II, Atlanta Braves vs. Cincinnati Reds ($4,200) — Harris has 26 home runs, 75 runs, 85 RBI and 12 stolen bases in 604 plate appearances. The slash is .291/.319/.488 with a .197 ISO. The average exit velocity is 90.4 mph while the barrel rate is 10.2% with a 74.9 mph bat speed. Against right-handed pitching, 18 home runs have been hit while the ISO is .211 with a 121 wRC+. Now he gets to face Brady Singer, who has a 5.55 FIP through 154 innings while allowing an average exit velocity of 91 mph with a 9.9% barrel rate. 23 home runs have been allowed to lefties. Once Singer is out of the game, Harris will get to tee off on one of the poorer bullpens in the game.

Mike Yastrzemski, Atlanta Braves vs. Cincinnati Reds ($2,700) — Yup, we stacking against Singer and the Reds bullpen. Yastrzemski has an average exit velocity of 90.3 mph with 11 home runs against right-handed pitching. The wRC+ is 98 with a .166 ISO. At home, the wRC+ is 101 with a .188 ISO. This is a great spot for Yastrzemski.
