NFL Week 2 Anytime TD scorer picks: Best bets, long shots, TD parlays

I’m looking beyond the shortest prices this week, particularly where a quarterback’s favorite target or some personnel returning from injury offers more scoring potential than the market odds suggest. The trick is separating a valuable assignment from last Sunday’s touchdown total. These are my three preferred anytime-TD singles, followed by five longer-priced alternatives.

Week 2 NFL Anytime TD Scorer Picks

Trey McBride (+210) vs. Seahawks

Jacoby Brissett keeps making Trey McBride his first answer, and I see Seattle’s stud defense incapable of interrupting them in the red zone. McBride commanded a 40.7% first-read target share in the opener, catching nine passes for 95 yards and a touchdown while running routes on 87% of Arizona’s dropbacks.

Seattle has allowed the fewest receiving yards per game to outside WRs since 2025, but the seventh-most to TEs. That steers me toward McBride rather than Arizona’s perimeter receivers, on top of McBride’s baffling red zone efficiency. With Ty Okada out and Nick Emmanwori questionable, Seattle also has coverage personnel to replace. I’m taking McBride to finish one of Arizona’s longer possessions, and he can do it at any point in the game. I think +210 is a bargain, here.

Juwan Johnson (+400) vs. Ravens

New Orleans needed every scant bit of overtime to manufacture its enormous opening-week passing totals, but Juwan Johnson’s scoring opportunities have my interest absolutely piqued. He ran routes on 78% of the dropbacks and commanded three red-zone targets. Tyler Shough need only keep looking for Johnson when the Saints get close to paydirt.

Johnson practiced fully Friday and carries no injury designation. Baltimore’s defense presents a difficult TE matchup for Johnson, and TE2 Noah Fant will compete for targets, which makes the price part of my play here: +400 requires only a 20% hit rate to break even. I expect New Orleans to spend much of Sunday chasing, giving Johnson opportunities to slip between underneath defenders and finish a drive without dominating touches.

TreVeyon Henderson (+325) vs. Steelers

New England welcomes back the runner who led it with 10 touchdowns last season, and TreVeyon Henderson practiced fully all week without carrying an injury designation into Sunday. He averaged 5.1 YPC and ripped off 11 runs of at least 15 yards as a rookie. I like having a touchdown bet that can cash before the offense reaches the goal line.

Rhamondre Stevenson will keep a substantial share, but Henderson doesn’t need to win the carry count at this price. Pittsburgh allowed the eighth-most adjusted yards before contact per RB carry last season, then surrendered a receiving touchdown to Bijan Robinson in the opener. I expect New England to manufacture touches for Henderson in space; one clean crease or missed tackle can turn a shared workload into the touchdown we need.
