The sixth week of Dana White’s Contender Series’ 10th season begins with a three-round Featherweight contest between Tyshawn Williams vs. Antonio Monteiro. Monteiro is the much more experienced fighter with 24 career fights, 16 more than Williams. But Williams enters this fight with an undefeated 8-0 record and five finishes, while Monteiro is 18-5-1 with nine finishes.

Tyshawn Williams to Win by KO/TKO/DQ or Submission (+140)
This is Monteiro’s second appearance on DWCS, after suffering a unanimous decision loss to Yadier del Valle on the show in October 2024. Since then, Monteiro scored a first-round submission against Savio Renato da Silva in June 2025. In the last five years, Monteiro has gone 7-1 in his previous eight contests over the last five years.
Tyshawn Williams is from Baltimore, Maryland, but now hails from Las Vegas, Nevada, where he trains at the popular gym Xtreme Couture, led by Head Coach Eric Nicksick. Williams’s last two wins came in Tuff-N-Uff, a regional MMA promotion in Las Vegas. Four of his previous five victories have come by knockout.
In this bout, Williams is a -258 favorite with Monteiro as a +210 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook. Monteiro is slightly taller (5’7″ vs. 5’6″), but Williams has a two-inch reach advantage (72″ vs. 70″) in this contest. The over/under is set at 1.5 rounds, with the over being -175 and the under being +135.
Although Monteiro is more experienced, Williams is on a better run and has a big edge in the striking department. Recently, Williams has been primarily a striker, but he is a former collegiate wrestler and should have the tools to neutralize Monteiro’s submission attempts. Since five of Williams’ eight MMA wins have come by finish, I’m taking him at +140 to win by KO/TKO/DQ or submission.
