Dancing with the Stars Season 35 premieres Tuesday, September 15, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+. A second premiere episode follows Wednesday, September 16, at the same time, and it’s all being framed as the advent of not one but two opening nights.
According to ABC, the male celebrities dance Tuesday, followed by the female celebrities Wednesday. Each contestant’s first routine features a No. 1 song from their birth year, and each night ends with an elimination. Two partnerships, then, will barely have unpacked before their seasons end.
Among those hoping for a considerably longer stay are Julia Stiles, Jenna Dewan, Giada De Laurentiis, and Taylor Hanson. Reality television contributes Ciara Miller, Maura Higgins, and Tyler Cameron, while Savannah Bananas star Jackson Olson joins the competition, too. Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough return as hosts. Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli will handle the judging.
And, for folks who spent the summer following Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro, there’ll be a familiar face on the stage. Winner Adele Zaikman makes her debut as a professional partner alongside Conner Leavitt, husband of former contestant Whitney Leavitt. Sharna Burgess returns as well, competing for the first time since 2021.
