MLB Best Bets for Yankees at Phillies for Sunday Night Baseball 7/26/26

For the second straight week, the New York Yankees are in the Sunday Night Baseball spotlight, this time as they visit the Philadelphia Phillies in a fun interleague matchup. In this potential World Series preview, the Yankees have taken the first two games of the series and will look to close out a sweep on Sunday night. With both teams loaded with star power and plenty of storylines, let’s take a look at my top three best bets from the player prop market in this Sunday Night Baseball matchup.

The Phillies are heavily favored at -193 on the moneyline and are getting 77% of the bets on the moneyline as of Sunday afternoon. The over/under is 8.0 runs, with the public evenly split on both sides of the run total.

For each Major League Baseball matchup, DraftKings Sportsbook has a wide variety of batter and pitcher props on the board, so let’s take a look at my top plays from this fun Sunday night Yankees-Phillies matchup.

Yankees at Phillies Prop Bets for Sunday 7/26/26

Cristopher Sanchez Over 7.5 Strikeouts (-104)

Sanchez has had a great year for the Phillies and has racked up 151 strikeouts in 21 starts (7.2 per start). He’ll take the mound on Sunday for his second start since getting the nod for the National League in the All-Star game. He had seven strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings against the Dodgers last Monday in his first start after the break, and he also has seven strikeouts against the Tigers in his previous outing.

Even though he has been under this prop line in three straight starts and six of his last seven, I like the value in the over based on the matchup. The Yankees lead the MLB with a 27.8% K% over the last 30 days, averaging 9.8 strikeouts per game over that span. They also have the most strikeouts in the MLB this season against left-handed pitchers with a 25.0% K% on that side of the splits as a team.

Sanchez has been dominant at home this year, with a 1.15 ERA and 0.96 WHIP in his 12 starts at Citizens Bank Park. He has averaged 7.7 strikeouts per start at home this season and has at least seven strikeouts in six of his last eight home starts. With just a little help from the free-swinging Yankees, he has a good chance to be able to get to eight strikeouts on Sunday Night Baseball, especially since his team will be looking to him to be the stopper after their four-game skid since his last start.

Will Warren over 1.5 Walks Allowed (-107)

Sanchez will be opposed by Will Warren, who will be making his first start in two weeks. Coming out of the All-Star break, the Yankees got a few pitchers off the IL and had a rain cancellation, resulting in Warren working 2/3 of an inning out of the bullpen in his only appearances since the break.

Warren walked a batter in that bullpen outing and has a 7.9% walk rate on the season, down from his 9.1% walk rate in each of the last two years. In his last nine starts, Warren has issued 34 walks in 46 innings with multiple free passes in all but one of those starts.

The Phillies have one of the lower walk rates in the MLB, averaging 2.9 walks per game on the season and 2.9 walks per game at home. However, with Warren potentially a little rusty and his command uncertain, it seems a nice value at almost even-money to take Warren to give up at least two walks on Sunday Night Baseball.

Trea Turner 2+ Hits + Runs + RBIs (-137)

This series has been very low-scoring, with only five runs total in the first two games combined. Neither team has anyone raking right now, but one of the hottest hitters to consider comes at a great value and only needs two HRR (hits, runs and RBI) to deliver a win in this prop. Turner has hit leadoff in every game he has played since June 17, so he should get the opportunities he needs to deliver the over in this prop if the Phillies can get to Warren.

In his last 20 games, Turner is 23-for-81 (.284) with four doubles, seven homers, 17 runs scored and 16 RBIs. That gives him 2.8 HRR per game in those 20 games. He scored the only Phillies run in the series on Saturday night to go over this prop line and has gone over it in four of his eight games since the All-Star break.

Turner has favorable splits against righties like Warren and at home, where he has averaged 2.5 HRR per game this season. If the Phillies can get their offense going, Turner should have multiple ways to get 2+ HRR. Another way to be more aggressive and back Turner is to play his 3+ HRR at +158, which could bring a nice payout as well.

If you combine these three Sunday night props into a Same Game Parlay, the odds stack up to a solid +480.
