House of the Dragon Season 3 continues to heat up, with only a few hours left for some monumental battles, plot twists and everything in between. The Dance of Dragons has such a massive reputation amidst Game of Thrones lore that there are bound to be massive developments, especially with time winding down before the season finale. While fans and critics alike praised A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms for its smaller-scale story earlier this year, the explosive and Shakespearean nature of the Targaryen civil war is a whole different beast.

When does House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 6 come out?
Season 3 Episode 6 will premiere on HBO at 9 p.m. ET on Sunday, July 26. It will be available to stream on HBO Max at the same time. The episode is expected to have a runtime around 1 hour, but its title remains unknown.
Like Game of Thrones, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and most other major HBO titles, House of the Dragon is releasing one episode a week – all on Sunday nights. There will be eight episodes in Season 3, as there were in Season 2. After that, HBO has greenlit a fourth and final season with a scheduled release date of 2028.

What to expect in House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 6
Rhaenyra just lost virtually her entire City Watch, thanks to the assassins that Ormund has been sending from occupied Tumbleton. For lack of a better analogy, Daemon is the devil on Rhaenyra’s shoulder demanding an aggressive response, while Alyn is the angel asking the queen to wait a little longer. Hugh Hammer is already watching over Tumbleton with his dragon, Vermithor, so it won’t take much to spark even more conflict. Rhaenyra knows that Ormund has a sensitivity to smells, thanks to Alicent’s intel, which is something she could use to her advantage. Speaking of Alicent, she is currently stuck in the walls of the Red Keep after trying to escape with Helaena, who is pregnant with another Targaryen heir after refusing to drink her moon tea.
Based on the trailer, we are going to get a look at Criston Cole’s forces in an open field, presumably fighting Oscar Tully’s Rivermen and Roderick Dustin’s Winter Wolves. Aemond is also lurking at Harrenhal, which isn’t too far away should Vhagar return.
Out in Rook’s Rest, Larys and Tyland need to help Aegon dispose of a dead body. It looks like they are going to dress the cruel local leader in Tyland’s clothes and dump him, simultaneously faking Tyland’s death. We are also going to check back in with Rhaena in the Vale. Despite telling Daemon last episode that she was going to live in exile with Sheepstealer for the rest of her life, Rhaena is going to be back in the Eyrie facing down sooner rather than later.
