Just days away from Love Island USA’s Season 8 finale, the remaining contestants spent Thursday’s episode visiting with their family members and loved ones inside the villa. And yes, they’ve watched everything.
Many of the islanders’ guests seemed delighted by their budding relationships — others, not so much. Here’s everything that went down in Thursday’s episode of Love Island USA.

Before the guests of honor arrived for Family Day, Bryce said what everyone was thinking: if anyone should be nervous, it’s Sincere. Let’s just say that his and Melanie’s families weren’t jumping to cram into the photo booth.
The first batch of family members to arrive was Trinity’s sister and mother, along with Bryce’s mom and grandmother. Unsurprisingly, they couldn’t have been more pleased with their blossoming romance, praising the relationship’s authenticity. Bryce’s family wasn’t at all fazed by his bromance with Zach — and his grandma, of all people, lobbied for him and Trinity to get their turn in the Hideaway.
Next up were Aniya and Carl, who were greeted by their respective mothers and sisters. The group joked about Aniya’s decision to boot Carl from the villa, while reminiscing about their volleyball backgrounds. Carl’s mom even admitted that she could see Aniya becoming her daughter-in-law. Notably, when the families separated, Aniya’s mom and sister urged her to be a better friend to Melanie, who continues to be manipulated by Sincere. Later that night, she followed their advice and apologized to Melanie for minimizing Sincere’s actions.
Shortly after, KC and Tierra had an opportunity to fill in their families on the news one night earlier — that, after an elaborate scavenger hunt, they had gone steady as boyfriend and girlfriend. KC’s mom and sister, and TiTi’s mother and cousin, couldn’t have been happier about their quickly developing relationship.
After a rocky week, it seems as though all Kenzie and Dylan needed was some quality time with the family. Once the families broke out into focus groups, Dylan’s mom and best friend urged him to forgive Kenzie and start moving on together. Meanwhile, Kenzie had a great chat with her mom and brother before getting a text — a video message from her dad, who offered additional encouragement as she navigates the experience. Kenzie went on to pull Dylan’s mom for a chat to emphasize how much their connection means to her. In Dylan’s mom’s words, it was “exactly what every mother wants to hear.”
The next family visit featured a familiar face — not only to the islanders, but to the viewers at home. Zach’s brother, Season 7 vet Charlie, returned to the villa with his sister, walking in alongside Kayda’s mother and sister. Back in the confessional booth, Charlie admitted that his little brother “did do better than me, didn’t he?” Hilariously, Kayda’s mom admitted that she was confused by their “exclusive” labeling. But despite developing initial reservations from Zach’s ill-timed “jokes,” Kayda’s family trusted her gut and approved of the relationship.
Naturally, the producers saved the best for last. Sincere was sweating bullets as his dad and brother arrived with Melanie’s mom and sister. Melanie’s family clearly objected to the pairing, confused about how many more chances she’s going to give Sincere. Echoing the same sentiment, Sincere’s father apologized to Melanie and her family, vehemently objecting to his son’s behavior — calling it point-blank “unacceptable.”
Once the families separated, Melanie’s mom and sister all but begged the teary-eyed islander to sever the connection, emphasizing that he’s “playing her.” Meanwhile, Sincere’s dad rebuked him for consistently leading women on, saying he had flown 7,000 miles to “correct” him. Even his younger brother told him to “lock in.”
Debriefing later that night, Melanie told Sincere that he had “a lot” of work ahead of him in repairing his relationship with her family. Even so, she confirmed that she still wants to explore life outside the villa — “even if I look like a dummy.”
