Braves vs. Mets game delayed due to rain Friday 6/12/26

UPDATE: The game will start at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Friday night’s game between the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets at Citi Field has been delayed due to rain.

This is the opener of a three-game series between the two teams.

Spencer Strider is scheduled to start for the Braves. The right-hander enters Friday at 4-1 with a 4.46 FIP and a 16.2% K-BB%. He’s allowed six home runs in 36 innings.

Nolan McLean is scheduled to start for the Mets. The right-hander enters at 3-4 with a 3.72 FIP and an 18.4% K-BB%. He’s allowed eight home runs in 72.1 innings.

The Braves starting lineup is Mauricio Dubon, Michael Harris II, Matt Olson, Ozzie Albies, Dominic Smith, Austin Riley, Mike Yastrzemski, Ha-Seong Kim, and Austin Wynns.

The Mets will trot out Carson Benge, Bo Bichette, Juan Soto, Jared Young, A.J. Ewing, Marcus Semien, Brett Baty, MJ Melendez, and Luis Torrens.

The Mets are -131 moneyline favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook, with the game total set at O/U eight runs.
