Yordan Alvarez 1+ Home Run (+230): Alvarez has crushed 22 homers on the season, including eight in his last 20 games. He homered on Saturday at home against the A’s, and he has evenly split his 22 home runs between at home and on the road. Most of his damage has come against righties, with 14 homers and a .452 wOBA on that side of the splits. Alvarez has an impressive 18.4% barrel rate on the season and a 21.2% barrel rate over his last 20 games. He gets a great matchup against Grayson Rodriguez, who has let lefties hit .356 against him this year with a .289 ISO, .462 wOBA and 58.3% hard-hit rate. Alvarez doesn’t have extremely long odds since he’s in such a great spot with good momentum, but the public likes him to smash another dinger on Monday night.

Kyle Schwarber 1+ Home Run (+287): The public is also backing Schwarber in his Monday matchup in Toronto as his Phillies take on lefty Patrick Corbin. Schwarber didn’t homer last weekend against the White Sox but still has a one-homer lead over Alvarez for the top mark in the MLB. He still has six homers in his last 19 games but is on a four-game drought coming into this matchup against veteran Corbin. Schwarber has gone 6-for-22 against Corbin in the past with a pair of long balls. He has a 53.7% hard-hit rate and 17.1% barrel rate over his last 19 games, so he’s still making great contact, making his brief lack of homers no major cause for concern at this point. In fact, he seems “due” as he and the Phillies visit the Rogers Centre.

Junior Caminero 1+ Home Run (+327): The Rays are also facing an AL East opponent to start the week, as they welcome in the Red Sox to Tropicana Field. The Rays will face Connelly Early, who has allowed 11 homers in his 12 games this season. Six of those 11 homers have come in his last four starts, and righties like Caminero have hit seven of those 11 homers. Caminero hasn’t homered in a week, but he has 14 homers on the year, including eight in his 30 home games. In his 22 games against the Red Sox in his career, Caminero has connected on six homers, including two in his last three matchups with Boston.
