Who Was Snubbed?

MLS star Diego Luna was the big name revealed to be left off the squad in the days leading up to the official announcement. The absence of Lyon CDM Tanner Tessmann also comes as a bit of a surprise. The 24-year-old was expected to be fit and available for the United States, but one way or another, he won’t be suiting up in this tournament. Middlesbrough midfielder Aidan Morris was also seen as a natural fit for this USMNT squad, but he didn’t make the cut.

What group is the United States in for the 2026 World Cup?
