The series between the San Antonio Spurs and Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference Semifinals sits knotted at two games apiece ahead of Game 5 on Tuesday night. With tip-off just a few hours away, there’s a new injury status to monitor that could have major implications on tonight’s contest.

Spurs guard Dylan Harper has been downgraded to questionable for Game 5 due to a knee injury.

While Harper averaged just 22.6 minutes a night during the regular season, it’s clear that he’s a key part of this rotation. He posted 11.8 points and 3.9 assists per game while providing elite rim pressure and shooting 50.5% from the field. In the playoffs, he’s scored double-digit points in six of his eight appearances with 20+ points in two of those as well.

Elsewhere on the injury report, starting point guard De’Aaron Fox is dealing with an ankle issue and is considered a game-time decision. If he doesn’t play, Harper could see an expanded workload. However, the absence of the younger guard could potentially leave this guard rotation decimated.

With the series tied at 2-2, the action shifts back to San Antonio tonight. The Spurs are listed as an 8.5-point home favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook.
