Sean Strickland beat Khamzat Chimaev by split decision (48-47, 47-48, 48-47) to win the Undisputed UFC Middleweight Championship in the Main Event of UFC 328. Strickland is now a two-time UFC Middleweight Champion and hands Chimaev his first career loss.

Chimaev moves to 15-1 in his professional MMA career. Strickland is now 31-7 and is 2-2 in UFC title fights. In the UFC 328 Main Event, Strickland landed 123 significant strikes, compared to Chimaev’s 98. Chimaev finished with nine takedowns and 7:16 of control time.

Before the fight, Strickland was a +340 underdog and was +800 to win by decision on DraftKings Sportsbook.
