What happened to Franz Wagner? Live injury updates for Pistons vs. Magic on Monday 4/27/26

With 1:34 left in the third quarter of Monday’s game against the Detroit Pistons, Franz Wagner was replaced by Jamal Cain. Wagner went to the locker room for an undisclosed reason.

He returned to the bench briefly but then headed back to the locker room. Wagner is now questionable to return due to soreness in his right calf.

There’s been no mention of when or how the injury occurred.

Before exiting, Wagner contributed 19 points, five rebounds, three assists and four steals in 24 minutes of action.

Wagner did not return to the game so DraftKings Early Exit is in effect.
