NBA Eastern Conference Finals: How to watch Celtics-Pacers on May 25

The NBA Finals are almost here, but no one has officially punched a ticket yet. The Celtics enter the series 2-0 as they make the trip to Indiana, where the Pacers hope to defy the odds for the third time in the 2024 NBA Playoffs.

While bettors have plenty of options to attack Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, they aren’t limited to Wednesday’s matchup. DraftKings Sportsbook bettors can take their pick on who will win the series, or leapfrog the Eastern Conference Finals altogether and back the Pacers or Celtics to win the NBA Finals. Or, for those who aren’t certain who will win this series, there’s still a way to start betting the NBA Finals via DraftKings Sportsbook.

Under the Team Futures market, there’s a Winner Specials section that allows bettors to back which conference the 2024 champion will come out of rather than a specific team. In that same section, bettors can get a little more creative and choose to back whether or not a first-time champion will be crowned this year. Bettors who play “YES” would need the Pacers or Timberwolves to win it all. (“NO” would hit if the Celtics or Mavericks win the 2024 title.)

There’s also a Playoff Specials section, but it doesn’t end there. DraftKings Sportsbook bettors can also find a Record Breakers market, which provides options for points, assists, rebounds and threes. With these options, any player from any of the four remaining teams could break the listed record for the play to hit — bettors can only play “YES” on each. Here’s a look at the records and each play’s odds on “YES”:

  • Michael Jordan’s 63 points: +3,000
  • Magic Johnson’s 24 assists: +100,000
  • Wilt Chamberlain’s 41 rebounds: +100,000
  • Damian Lillard’s 12 three-pointers: +10,000
