MLB Best Bets: Top Home Run Props for Tuesday 4/14/26

Home runs. Long balls. Bleacher reachers. Whatever you want to call them, people love watching and betting on home run props during baseball games. So much so, we’ve got a whole article dedicated to just that.

Here are my top three home run prop picks on DraftKings Sportsbook for Tuesday’s slate: Rafael Devers, Oneil Cruz and Roman Anthony.

Let’s break them down.

Top MLB Home Run Props

Rafael Devers 1+ Home Run (+387)

It’s always so refreshing to back a Giants home run prop when the team is on the road — especially at a place like Great American Ball Park. Now imagine how refreshing it is for the players themselves. As you would expect, San Francisco has struggled to hit many long balls to start this season, as its played 10 of its 16 contests at the spacious Oracle Park. In fact, the Giants come into Tuesday’s action as the lone MLB squad with fewer that 10 total home runs in 2026. I’m hoping that stat is no longer relevant after tonight’s tilt with Brady Singer and the Reds.

To say that Singer has been hit hard over his first three starts of the season would be a massive understatement. To be perfectly frank, the veteran RHP has been getting demolished. Singer’s 7.72 xERA is completely backed up a first percentile opponent average exit velocity (97.0) and a second percentile opponent hard hit rate (64.3%). That is no way to survive at GABP. That’s no way to survive anywhere. If this trend continues tonight, someone’s going yard for the Giants. My money’s on Devers, who sports a career .264 ISO against right-handed pitching.

Oneil Cruz 1+ Home Run (+324)

We’re back at the Cruz well for the second day in a row. I must admit, if you’d told me prior to last night’s tilt that the Pirates would score 16 runs, I’d have asked you how many home runs Cruz hit — not if he went deep. But alas. The hard-hitting outfielder had to settle for a stat line of two hits, two walks, three runs scored and three RBI. I’m sure he was incredibly disappointed in himself.

For the season as a whole, Cruz has translated his 99th percentile bat speed (78.6) into 99th percentile average exit velocity (96.6) and a 97th percentile barrel rate (21.4%). It’s only a matter of time before he finds the seats for his sixth home run of 2026, and I get the feeling that tonight could be the night. Miles Mikolas will toe the rubber of the Nationals, and the 37-year-old appears to be on his last legs. Heck, Mikolas hasn’t really been effective since all the way back in 2022, yet what’s transpired over his first three starts as a member of Washington is downright pitiful. Mikolas has surrendered five long balls and 17 earned runs in only 12.1 innings of work. His opponent barrel rate is 14.3%. He’s cooked.

Roman Anthony 1+ Home Run (+426)

Anthony’s sophomore season hasn’t started like many had hoped it would, with the former top prospect hitting .211 with a single home run across his first 67 plate appearances. That’s also to say nothing of his throwing woes in left field. Still, let’s remember the larger picture here. Anthony remains a generational talent with unlimited upside. He’s the same guy who posted a 60.5% hard hit rate in his rookie campaign. It just takes one ball over the wall to get a little streak going at the plate. Maybe tonight is when everything starts turning around for the 21-year-old.

This matchup should at least help matters. Mick Abel has been less than inspiring in his 13.1 innings of work in 2026, pitching to a 6.08 ERA and a 7.28 xERA. However, despite those ugly numbers, the RHP has somehow yet to give up a home run. This isn’t me simply suggesting he’s randomly due for regression, either. Abel fits the archetype of a pitcher who should be plagued by the long ball. He just can not suppress opponent launch angle. Consider that Abel’s 24.4% ground ball rate is the fifth-lowest mark of the 162 players to toss at least 10 frames this season. If you live by the fly ball, you’ll eventually die by it.
