The NBA playoffs are just around the corner, and in the first round, we get an intriguing matchup between the #4 seed Los Angeles Lakers and the #5 seed Houston Rockets. Game 1 is set for either Saturday or Sunday in Los Angeles.

Lakers vs. Rockets Game 1 Opening Odds

Looking at the odds on DraftKings Sportsbook, the Rockets are favorites to win Game 1 at -185 odds. The Lakers are +154 to get the upset win. The spread is set at 4.5 points, while the over/under is listed at 208.5 points.

These teams met up three times in the regular season, with L.A. winning two of the three. What was interesting was that the road team won on all three occasions. Could we see that again this weekend? If Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves aren’t out there, it’s certainly possible.
