There will be a big ten game NBA slate tonight, and what better place to find coverage than here at DK Network? We’ll tip off at 7 PM EST with the Timberwolves visiting the Pacers and conclude with the Rockets visiting the Suns at 11 PM EST as Kevin Durant returns to face his former team.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Kevin Durant More Than 24.5 Points
Durant’s humming along this season with a cool 25.9 PPG. Even at age 37, he’s still an effortless scorer but doesn’t quite put up the volume he used to; his 17.6 FGA is still high relative to the league average, but he hasn’t dropped to this volume since his 35 game season with the Brooklyn Nets in 2020-2021. He’s still slashing excellent shooting splits of .519/.410/.877.
The Suns have a respectable defense, though. Their 112.9 DEFRTG is tenth in the NBA, and they just got their best perimeter defender back recently in Dillon Brooks. Despite this, I’m anticipating Durant to continue his latest scoring streak, having dipped under 24.5 points just twice in his last ten games.
Jayson Tatum Less Than 8.5 Rebounds
Tatum’s bounced back earlier than we all expected this season, suiting up and playing heavy minutes for the Celtics before the postseason even got underway. There was speculation before the season that he wouldn’t play at all. Well, he’s back.
Tatum is averaging 31.6 MPG already and is pulling down a career-high 10.1 rebounds. He’s scoring 21.5 PPG, a far cry from his usual scoring prowess, but give him some time. He’s only shooting .412/.333/.828 splits as he gets his legs back under him.
His rebounding so far has been otherworldly, summarized by an enormous 25 point, 18 rebound performance against the Heat in a 147-129 win on April 1st. The Hornets are a different matter tonight, though. They’re conceding the fewest rebounds per game by far with a league-leading 47.8 RPG, controlling the glass in a restrictive way to limit opponent possessions. Due to the matchup, I’m expecting Tatum to fall short of his 8.5 line tonight, which is already well above his career average of 7.4 RPG.
Deandre Ayton More Than 6.5 Rebounds
On the other side, Ayton has an excellent opportunity to exploit one of OKC’s main issues: rebounding. The Thunder are conceding 54.7 RPG to opponents, which is 24th in the NBA. They’re not built to win games through dominating the rebounds, they’re built to win games through pesky defense and threes. Regardless, it shouldn’t be tough for Ayton to have a big game tonight. He’s been lackluster all season, but he’s still pulling down 8.1 RPG, and tonight’s line is well below his average for some reason.

Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.

When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
