Opening odds for Francis Ngannou vs. Philipe Lins

The former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Francis Ngannou, is returning to MMA and will face Philipe Lins in the co-main event of Netflix’s first MMA card. In MMA, Ngannou is 18-3 with 17 finishes, while Lins has a record of 18-5 with 13 by knockout or submission.

Ngannou last competed in the PFL in October 2024, when he beat Renan Ferreira for the PFL Super Fights Heavyweight title. Since leaving the UFC in January 2022, Ngannou has competed twice in boxing and once in MMA. Even though Ngannou has had only two MMA fights over the last four years, he is still viewed as one of the best Heavyweights in the world. After departing the PFL, Ngannou once again is a free agent and can compete for any organization.

By no surprise, Ngannou is a massive -1450 favorite with Lins being a +850 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Lins, 40, has fought in Bellator, PFL, and the UFC in his career. He went 4-2 in the UFC and won his previous four fights, but left the promotion in March 2024. Lins primary has competed at Light Heavyweight, and this is his first Heavyweight bout since 2020.
