Texas Rangers vs. Baltimore Orioles Probable Pitchers

deGrom makes his first start tonight after being scratched with neck stiffness. He was stellar in 2025, throwing over 100 innings for the first time since 2019 and producing a 2.97 ERA with a 3.36 xERA. He’ll oppose Eflin, who was getting rocked before getting injured last year with a 5.93 ERA and a 4.49 xERA.
Washington Nationals vs. Philadelphia Phillies Probable Pitchers

Painter will make his major league debut tonight after three years in the minors. Last year through 119 innings he combined for a 5.26 ERA with a 4.81 FIP and a 9.3 K/9.
Chicago White Sox vs. Miami Marlins Probable Pitchers

- Miami Marlins: Janson Junk
- Time: 6:40 PM ET
Fedde pitched for three teams last season and exhibited shaky command and a 5.38 xERA. Junk was in the bullpen and rotation for the Marlins last season and had pinpoint command, with just a 1.06 BB/9 through 110 innings.
Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Cincinnati Reds Probable Pitchers

- Cincinnati Reds: Brandon Williamson

Chandler brings tremendous strikeout upside, owning no less than a 10.8 K/9 in every minor league level he’s pitched in since 2022. Williamson had a great spring, throwing 16.1 innings and logging a 1.65 EA with an 8.2 K/9.
Colorado Rockies vs. Toronto Blue Jays Probable Pitchers

- Toronto Blue Jays: Max Scherzer

Feltner dealt with some bad luck in his 30.1 innings in the majors last season, as his 4.75 ERA was accompanied by a 3.30 xERA. Scherzer can still generate the swings-and-misses but his numbers against lefties continues to be a problem. They tagged him for a .360 wOBA and 13 of the 19 home runs he allowed.
Athletics vs. Atlanta Braves Probable Pitchers

- Atlanta Braves: Jose Suarez

Civale is your average, back end of the rotation pitcher at this point of his career. Lefties are a sore spot for him, which the Braves can load up on. Suarez has mainly worked out of the bullpen the past few seasons and may not go deep in this game.
Tampa Bay Rays vs. Milwaukee Brewers Probable Pitchers

- Milwaukee Brewers: Brandon Woodruff

McClanahan makes his first start since 2023 after undergoing Tommy John surgery. In Spring Training, he looked like his old self, posting a 2.08 ERA with a 3.73 FIP and a 10.3 K/9 in 13 innings. Woodruff returned from injury last year and produced his highest K/9 of his career of 11.5 through 64.2 innings.
Los Angeles Angels vs. Chicago Cubs Probable Pitchers

- Chicago Cubs: Jameson Taillon
- Time: 7:40 PM ET
Soriano does an excellent job at keeping the ball on the ground, generating a 65% ground ball rate last season. He’ll oppose Taillon, who heavily relies on contact for outs as well but allows a ton of fly balls. Last season’s 45% fly ball rate was the highest allowed in his career.
New York Mets vs. St. Louis Cardinals Probable Pitchers

- St. Louis Cardinals: Andre Pallante

Senga has great numbers but his command can escape him and get him into trouble. In his two full seasons in the majors, he posted a BB/9 of at least 4.1. Pallante is coming off the worst season of his career in 2025, posting an ERA north of 5 and a 4.30 xERA.
Boston Red Sox vs. Houston Astros Probable Pitchers

- Houston Astros: Hunter Brown

Bello had a lot of luck last year, indicated by his 3.35 ERA and xERA of 4.48. He also saw his K/9 drop from 8.4 in 2024 to 6.7 in 2025. He’ll face off against Brown, who just struck out nine Angels in 4.2 innings but also walked four.
New York Yankees vs. Seattle Mariners Probable Pitchers

- Seattle Mariners: Logan Gilbert

Fried shutout the Giants in his first start of the season but his xERA of nearly four in that matchup indicates he was very lucky to escape unscathed. Gilbert had some bad luck against the Guardians but his strikeout upside remained intact, whiffing seven through 5.1 innings.
San Francisco Giants vs. San Diego Padres Probable Pitchers
- San Francisco Giants: Logan Webb
- San Diego Padres: German Marquez
- Time: 9:40 PM ET
Webb was hit very hard against the Yankees on Opening Night, allowing an uncharacteristic six runs on nine hits in five innings of work. He’ll face Marquez, who despite pitching for the Rockies last season, was much worse on the road than at Coors Field.
Detroit Tigers vs. Arizona Diamondbacks Probable Pitchers

- Arizona Diamondbacks: Brandon Pfaadt
- Time: 9:40 PM ET
Mize turned in his best year in the majors last year with a 3.87 ERA and a 3.66 FIP. He also improved his K/9 from 6.8 in 2024 to 8.4. Pfaadt hasn’t been able to put it together in the majors and saw his lowest K/9 of 7.4 since being called up in 2023.
Cleveland Guardians vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Probable Pitchers

Ohtani makes his first start on the mound tonight. Last season in LA, he was incredible, allowing just four runs on 11 hits with 30 strikeouts in 21 innings of work.
