The Magic are hosting the Kings on Thursday. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Orlando is favored by 14.5 points and this game carries a total of 230.5 points.
Let’s dive into three of my favorite player prop bets for Thursday’s matchup between the Magic and Kings.

DeMar DeRozan U 17.5 Points (-103)
This line is way too high for DeRozan right now. As the Kings tank to finish their season and look to develop their younger players, DeRozan’s numbers have suffered. The veteran hasn’t scored more than 13 points in four straight games. Since the All-Star break, DeRozan has scored single-digits four times and he has stayed under 17.5 points in 11 of his 16 games.
Sacramento just lost to the Hornets by 44 points on Tuesday and DeRozan only scored seven points across 28 minutes in the defeat. While another loss of over 40 points is unlikely, the Kings could easily get blown out again tonight, as 15.5-point road underdogs to the Magic. Orlando has lost six in a row, dropping the club down to the No. 10 seed in the Eastern Conference, so tonight is a must-win. The Magic rank 11th in defensive rating and 22nd in pace since the All-Star break.
Jalen Suggs U 3.5 Rebounds (+108)
Suggs (illness) is questionable tonight, but he went through shoot-around this morning, per Orlando Sentinel’s Jason Beede. Suggs is trending toward suiting up and is a strong bet for this under. He hasn’t been much of a factor on the glass since the All-Star break, averaging 3.5 rebounds on 6.0 rebound chances per game.
Suggs has stayed under 3.5 rebounds in nine of 14 games during this span. If the Magic run away with an easy win tonight, the guard likely will see limited minutes, especially coming off a two-game absence.
Malik Monk U 2.5 Made Three-Pointers (-148)
Monk hasn’t been lighting it up from downtown by any means since the All-Star break. Over this time, he is only shooting 32% from beyond the arc and averaging 1.9 made three-pointers per game. Monk has stayed under 2.5 made three-pointers in eight of 13 games during this stretch and he has failed to hit a trey in three of his last four.
Similar to DeRozan, Monk’s play has been inconsistent with the Kings tanking and he shouldn’t do much from deep in this brutal spot. This season, the Magic are giving up the fewest made three-pointers per game (11.9).
