For the first of two straight events in Texas, we head to Memorial Park (par 70, 7,475 yards, Poa trivialis greens) in Houston for the Texas Children’s Houston Open. Min Woo Lee (-20) won this event a year ago and this will be the sixth consecutive Houston Open played at Memorial Park. There will be 133 players competing this week and a top-65 and ties cut after the first two rounds.

Marco Penge ($9,100)
Penge brings huge upside this week and he should get lost in the shuffle with the $9,000 range filled with more well-known players. The Englishman has been outstanding this past year, winning three times on the DP World Tour, most recently with a victory at the Open de Espana in October. Penge is the No. 36 ranked player in the world and he has made 16 of his last 20 cuts worldwide with 11 of these finishes being top-25 results. Just last week, Penge finished T-4 at the Valspar Championship, despite it being his debut at the Copperhead Course. Except around the greens, Penge gained strokes in every major category at the par 71.
This week will be another debut for Penge, as he has never teed it up at Memorial Park before, but his game suits this venue. Memorial Park is a long course that doesn’t present much trouble off-the-tee. Bombers thrive at this venue – three of the last five winners have finished the event top-16 in driving distance – and Penge passes this test with flying colors, as he ranks first in SG OTT and seventh in driving distance this season.
Tony Finau ($7,600)
Finau has only missed one cut in his last six starts and he has finished inside the top-30 four times during this run. Finau finished T-18 at the Valspar Championship last week and he gained strokes on approach at the Copperhead Course. Finau is quietly playing strong golf and his game is coming together just in time for his return to Memorial Park. Finau won at this par 70 by four shots in 2023 and he finished runner-up here in 2024.
Finau has made 4-of-5 cuts at Memorial Park and he has shot a course record 8-under 62 twice at this track. Finau ranks fifth among this field in strokes gained per round at Memorial Park. Plus, the 36-year-old ranks third in strokes gained per round at all Texas courses. Finau has never been priced lower than $9,200 on DraftKings for an event at Memorial Park and he is an awesome value at only $7,600.
Alejandro Tosti ($6,600)
Tosti is an elite sleeper pick this week. The 29-year-old was on a brutal run, missing 12 straight cuts, but he got back on track last week at the Valspar Championship, finishing T-30. Tosti ranked second in SG OTT for the tournament and he will now look to parlay this into an even better finish at his beloved Memorial Park.
Tosti has competed at this par 70 the last two years and he has finished runner-up and T-5, which are his two best finishes on the PGA TOUR. Tosti has never shot worse than a 2-under 68 in his eight rounds at Memorial Park and he ranks second among this field in strokes gained per round at the Texas venue.
