Most recently, he racked up 19 assists in Thursday’s loss to the Cavaliers — not only his career high, but the most from a Bull since Ennis Whatley tallied 21 against the Warriors in February 1985. Alperen Sengun Double-Double (+113)
Alperen Sengun has racked up 30 double-doubles in 61 games this season, ranking ninth in the NBA. The All-Star center is a constant threat to hit double digits across multiple categories, highlighted by his three triple-doubles this season.
Sengun, 23, has recorded four double-doubles over his last five games. From 27 points and 10 assists against the Lakers to 19 points and 12 rebounds against the Heat, he can deliver in several ways. Reed Sheppard 4+ Threes (+117)
Chicago has struggled to defend the perimeter all season, a weakness that has fueled the franchise’s late-season tailspin. Since February, the Bulls rank 25th in opponent three-point percentage and 26th in opponent threes per game.
That spells trouble against Houston flamethrower Reed Sheppard, who’s shooting 39.3% from deep amid a breakout sophomore campaign. Though he went just 2-for-5 from three against the Bulls in January, the 21-year-old guard has seen his perimeter opportunities steadily increase — from 6.1 attempts per game in January to 8.6 in March.
Sheppard enters Monday’s contest having drilled four or more threes in 24 games this season, including three of his last five. On Saturday against the Heat, he buried five triples on just eight attempts. With his workload continuing to climb, expect Sheppard to bury at least four triples against the Bulls.
