The Valspar Championship will be played at the Copperhead Course (par 71, 7,352 yards, POA Trivialis greens) of the Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida. This has been the home of the Valspar Championship since its inception in 2000. There will be 133 golfers competing this week and a top-65 and ties cut after the first two rounds.

Wyndham Clark to make the cut
Clark has yet to miss a cut in seven starts this season. In fact, the former U.S. Open champion has only failed to make the cut twice in his last 13 starts. Clark has gained strokes on approach at four consecutive events and when we compare this field’s last 24 rounds, he ranks top-25 in SGT2G, SG APP and SG ARG. Clark now makes his way to the Copperhead Course, where he has made 3-of-4 cuts. Clark finished fifth here last season, including a second-round 5-under 66.
Lucas Glover to make the cut
Glover’s resume at the Copperhead Course is long and impressive. The veteran has made 15-of-20 cuts here, both of which are the most among the field. Glover has produced eight top-25 finishes at the Copperhead Course, including a T-11 in 2024 and a T-8 last season. The 46-year-old has a 7-under 64 under his belt at this par 71 and while Glover is coming off a missed cut at THE PLAYERS Championship, he has only missed three cuts in his last 10 starts. Over this time, Glover has carded four top-25 finishes, most recently with a T-24 finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational two weeks ago. In the state of Florida, Glover has made nine of his last 12 cuts.
Tom Kim to make the cut
Kim has made 10 cuts in a row, when excluding his withdrawal from the Wyndham Championship last August. The three-time PGA TOUR winner has finished inside the top-35 five times during this stretch and his ball-striking is trending up right now, as Kim has gained strokes on approach at three straight events. The 23-year-old finished T-36 in his debut at the Copperhead Course last season – including a second-round 5-under 66 – and Kim should safely make the cut in his second visit to the par 71 this week.
