Jazz guard Keyonte George was ruled out of Wednesday’s game against the Knicks after suffering a hamstring injury in the third quarter.
George was replaced by Andersson Garcia with 5:47 left in the period, seen grabbing his hamstring before retreating to the locker room. There’s been no mention of when or how the injury occurred.
Prior to exiting, George contributed 14 points, five assists, two rebounds, and a steal in 20 minutes of action.
If George is out for an extended period of time, the biggest beneficiary would be Isaiah Collier, who played exceptionally well when George was out. Garcia could get also see an uptick in playing time, but he was just signed to a 10-day contract.
