Matchweek 30 of the Premier League has arrived as Newcastle travels to take on Chelsea in a game that sees fifth place take on 12th.

Chelsea are -120 favorites on the moneyline for this one on DraftKings Sportsbook, with a draw available at +320. Fancy a Newcastle upset? The Magpies are +285 to pick up three points.

Chelsea vs. Newcastle Prediction, Pick

This fixture in recent seasons has come down to who is playing at home. Newcastle have not won at Stamford Bridge in any competition since 2012, with Chelsea winning 12 of the last 14 home fixtures between the sides. On the flip side, Newcastle are unbeaten in five straight games against the Blues at St. James’ Park, winning four and drawing one. Chelsea are the home team this time around on Saturday, so I’m sticking with this trend to continue.

These teams both have the second leg of Champions League games to look forward to in midweek, but you could argue Newcastle will have more of an eye on their match.

After losing 5-2 to PSG in the first leg, Chelsea essentially have one foot out the door of that competition, while finishing in the top five of the Premier League is paramount for their future. Anything can happen in the second leg, but it will take close to a miracle to overturn a three-goal deficit to the defending European champions.

Newcastle are in no man’s land in the Premier League table, and that Champions League second leg is arguably the biggest game of their season after a 1-1 draw with Barcelona in the first leg of their Round of 16 clash.

Saturday’s match seems like it will be a lot more important to the Blues.

Chelsea know that every game is crucial for them to finish in the top five of the Premier League table, and I expect them to take this game very seriously, while the Magpies will likely rotate ahead of their clash with Barcelona. Give me the Blues to pick up three points on Saturday.

The Pick: Chelsea Moneyline (-120)
