We have a big 11 game slate on our hands tonight, tipping off at 7 PM EST between the 76ers and the Grizzlies and concluding with the Timberwolves visiting the Lakers at 11 PM EST.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Luka Doncic More Than 32.5 Points
Doncic has been sensational in his last two, putting up 35 and 44 in back to back games while taking 25 shots exactly in both games. He’s still leading the league in PPG with 32.5 and should be in a good spot to replicate his season-average tonight against the Timberwolves. Minnesota won’t just fall over, though, as they’re posting a 112.2 DEFRTG, which is ninth in the league.
But Doncic is matchup proof. He just hung up 35 points against the Knicks, a better defense than Minnesota’s, with six triples but shot poorly from the field to get there. His volume helps stabilize things a bit when his shot isn’t falling as well as it normally does. Doncic should be in for plenty of on-ball reps, late-clock problem solving, and offensive creation to anchor the Lakers tonight.
Kevin Durant Less Than 24.5 Points
Durant is leading Houston in scoring with 26.1 PPG and this line falls under his typical spot. This could partially be attributed to his form as of late: he’s been held to under 24 points in three straight games now. I’m expecting his scoring to be muted tonight as well, as his matchup will be the Toronto Raptors, who are posting a 111.8 DEFRTG on the season. They’ll throw lengthy defenders such as Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram at Durant to slow him down. Durant will eventually get back on track to his ways, but it won’t be against the Raptors.
Jaylen Brown Less Than 24.5 Points
In the two games since Jayson Tatum returned to the fold, Brown has put up 23 and 24 points on 17 shots apiece. He’s currently leading the league in FGA with 22 per game, but it’s clear that Tatum’s return will affect Brown’s volume, and with that, his scoring as well. I’m expecting Tatum’s presence to continue to stamp down Brown’s shot attempts and thus it’s likely he’ll fall short of 24.5 points tonight, especially against the complex defensive problem that is the Spurs. The Spurs are good at denying scoring from all areas of the court, and are anchored by the likely DPOY in Victor Wembanyama, whose reach is difficult to overcome. Brown’s been an All-NBA level player this season, but his shot attempts will be too few and this defense will be too tough.

Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you cannot pick the same player twice and you must select players from at least two different teams.
Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
Sweat Your Picks
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
