Jeff’s King of the Court Pick for Tuesday, March 10: Luka Doncic
I know, I know, quite the bold take here.
The reality is, whenever Luka Doncic suits up on a King of the Court slate, it’s really hard to pick against him. The stat-stuffing machine’s floor is somewhere in the high 30s or low 40s PRA-wise, which was good enough to land him a KOTC podium finish last week. At his peak, no one in the league can compete with his numbers, outside of maybe Nikola Jokic or Victor Wembanyama.
Doncic has recorded at least 47 points, rebounds and assists in back-to-back outings, seeing a monstrous usage rate of 41% or higher in each contest. With a duel against Anthony Edwards and the Wolves on hand, the Lakers will need Luka’s A-game to pick up the win. That should result in another huge statistical performance from the superstar.
