DraftKings NBA Pick6 Fantasy Basketball Picks Today: Top Picks for 3/9/26

We have five games on the slate this fine Monday, with the 76ers visiting the Cavaliers at 7 PM EST. The Knicks and Clippers will wrap things up for us at 10 PM EST.

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!

This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.

Nikola Jokic Less Than 27.5 Points

The Thunder’s exceptional defense recently held the multiple-time MVP to just 23 points on 36% shooting from the field when they last played on February 27th. The Nuggets lost an overtime game 121-127 and we can expect Denver to be looking for revenge. But it’s unlikely that Jokic will get his team there by scoring the basketball, which seems difficult against a defense of this strength. OKC has been tremendous on that end all season and we saw that in the last game between these two teams. While Jokic will be able to do everything else effectively, he will have a tough time scoring against OKC’s pesky defenders, who have the length to disrupt passing lanes and get into Jokic’s personal space with quick hands. The Thunder should be very annoying tonight in denying Jokic his room to breathe.

Quentin Grimes More Than 18.5 Points

We’ll be without Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid, Paul George, and possibly even VJ Edgecombe in this game tonight, which means big minutes and big usage for Quentin Grimes. He recently popped for 26 points in 41 minutes in his last game and should be asked to do the bulk of the offensive heavy lifting once again.

Cleveland is solid defensively but not elite. If Grimes gets a starter-level workload again tonight, which seems extremely likely, he should be able to hit his 18.5 mark with sheer volume. The Sixers are sliding down the standings fast, and they look to hold onto the eighth seed to close the season.

Nikola Jokic More Than 12.5 Rebounds

While the aforementioned Jokic may not get to realize his scoring potential tonight against this juggernaut defense, he will still likely dominate the boards. OKC is 25th in rebounds per game conceded, and Jokic recently hauled in a robust 17 in their last game in which he shot the ball poorly. We can expect a similar story tonight, as the Thunder don’t have the size to consistently box out one of the game’s best rebounders. Jokic is leading the league in RPG at 10.3 and could be up for another monster night on the glass.

OKC has also listed Holmgren as Questionable and Isaiah Hartenstein as out, which leaves them with even fewer options for contesting Jokic on the glass.
