Having faced each other in the Champions League, there is a ton of recent history to go off in this fixture. PSG have won three of the last five games between these sides in all competitions, drawing one and losing one. In four of the last five contests, Monaco have found themselves on the scoresheet.
Paris have been extremely convincing against their French rivals at home, not losing to Monaco at the Parc des Princes since 2021 with four wins and two draws in their last six home fixtures.
PSG should have the tools to win this one, and despite not having their best season so far, they are clearly still the best team in France. They have scored more goals than every other team, conceded fewer and have collected the most points.
Paris also have the best home record in Ligue 1 thus far, winning 10 of 11 home games while drawing one. On the flip side, eight teams have collected more road points than Monaco in the league, who have 12 points in 11 road games.
PSG should have too much for Monaco on Friday and I expect them to extend their lead at the top of Ligue 1.
