DraftKings will be running it’s popular King of the Court promo on tonight’s 10-game NBA slate, but this time with a twist. Users who opt have the chance to split $1 million in bonus bets by placing a player prop bet on the DraftKings Sportsbook on the player who finishes top three on Tuesday night in total points, rebounds and assists.
Seems simple enough, right? Why wouldn’t you just place a bet and use your token on the highest usage option on that slate and call it a day? Well, the bonus bet split is smaller depending on how popular the player is with the betting public, so there could be some value in taking a contrarian approach — even more so when there’s three winning players instead of just one. That means no Luka Doncic, Cade Cunningham or Tyrese Maxey picks in this article.
With that in mind, here are a couple under the radar King of the Court picks for this evening’s basketball action.
Three Kings of the Court Value Picks
Tyler Herro, Miami Heat
Couple things to think about with Herro on Tuesday night. First and foremost, he’s walking into an amazing matchup with the Nets. Over its last five games, Brooklyn is surrendering a league-high 128.2 opponent points per 100 possessions. Putting that defense in the mix with a Heat squad that leads the NBA in pace (104.8) seems like a recipe for offensive fireworks. Secondly, Herro looks to be at 100% conditioning after missing so, so many contests this season. The former All-Star was back in Miami’s starting lineup on Saturday, logging 33.1 minutes in a 115-105 victory over the Rockets — the most playing time Herro’s registered since January 13. He’ll be asked to carry a large role with Norman Powell (groin) sidelined, and it’s not like Herro hasn’t been good when available in 2025-26. In fact, in his 16 games, Herro is shooting a career-high 49.0% from the field and is also averaging career-bests in points (24.9) and field goal attempts (19.0) per 36. Herro scored 30 or more points 18 times last season. We all know what he’s capable of.

Trey Murphy, New Orleans Pelicans
It’s a big slate, but on the DraftKings Sportsbook, one game’s total stands out amongst the rest. That would be tonight’s tilt in Los Angeles between the Lakers and the Pelicans, which is listed at 243.5 points. The book is expecting some huge scoring performances, which in turn, should mean some ever larger PRA showings from both squads. Now, we know that Luka Doncic is the obvious King of the Court choice here, but if you’re looking for a more contrarian selection, Trey Murphy is the way to go, especially with Zion Williamson (ankle) a possibility to miss his second straight contest due to injury. Murphy returned to action on Sunday after missing five games of his own, leading all New Orleans starters in minutes (31.2) and field goal attempts (15). You don’t have to look back too far to find a glimpse of Murphy’s ceiling, either. On February 4 against the Bucks, the 25-year-old set a career-high with 44 points, adding six rebounds and six assists. Needless to say, Murphy can be explosive.
