Saturday’s slate presents a select three-game featured NBA DFS offering. That means snagging a big name or two has never been more important for fantasy managers. With that being said, finding some hidden gems could go a long way as well. Given the lack of quality options on the board, contributors at a discounted salary are invaluable. Here are two values worth consideration tonight in all DFS formats.

SF Herbert Jones, New Orleans Pelicans at UTA ($4,500)
For all of New Orleans’ flaws, this team has several proven NBA difference makers. Among those names is Herb Jones, a defensive menace when healthy. Despite frequent injuries and inconsistent offense, the wing remains a valued member of this Pelicans squad. Through 37 games, the Alabama alum is putting up 8.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.7 steals (21.6 FPTS). If nothing else, a knack for forcing turnovers gives the fifth-year pro a safer fantasy floor.
There should be room to produce on both ends of the floor on Saturday. The Pels will take on another tanking squad in Utah. This season, the Jazz have surrendered the most fantasy points to opposing small forwards. To boot, they’ve given up the most points (125.9) and most three-pointers made (15.5) per game to opponents. When these teams last met on Thursday, Jones only scored eight points. However, his three steals led to a 24.2 fantasy point-performance. Improved scoring tonight is a reasonable expectation for this underrated wing.
C Jakob Poeltl, Toronto Raptors at WAS ($4,300)
Following a lengthy absence, Jakob Poeltl is back in action for the Raptors. He’ll be needed more than ever tonight, with fellow big man Collin Murray-Boyles (thumb) listed as doubtful. Toronto’s starting center has been decent this season, when healthy. Over 25 outings, the Austrian has notched 9.4 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists (23.6 FPTS). During his last appearance on Wednesday, he posted 15 points, seven rebounds and three blocks en route to 34.8 fantasy points.
Saturday presents a golden opportunity for Poeltl to dominate. The Wizards are an atrocious defensive squad, especially with Alex Sarr (hamstring) sidelined. Even backup Tristan Vukcevic (hip) is currently questionable. Whether or not he suits up, this front court is vulnerable. Washington has allowed more fantasy points to opposing centers than any other team. During his last eight meetings with the Wizards, Poeltl is averaging 13.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.3 steals. A similar showing this evening would make the veteran a bargain at $4,300.
