The Champions League Knockout Playoffs are three-quarters complete, with four teams — Atlético Madrid, Newcastle United, Bodø/Glimt, and Bayer Leverkusen — punching their tickets to the Round of 16 on Tuesday. Eight more teams will have an opportunity to join them on Wednesday, with Borussia Dortmund, Galatasaray, Paris Saint-Germain, and Real Madrid currently having an edge.
There should be plenty of goals on Wednesday, with several of the world’s best strikers — including Kylian Mbappé, Désiré Doué, Victor Osimhen, and Serhou Guirassy — all set to take the pitch. Guirassy found the net in the first leg of BVB’s tie against Atalanta and Doué netted a brace to help PSG make a comeback against Monaco.
Below, I’ll break down my two favorite goal scorer prop bets from Wednesday’s four matches.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia Anytime Goalscorer (+105)
Despite not finding the back of the net during the first leg, Kvaratskhelia was critical to the comeback, putting consistent pressure on Monaco’s defense and uncorking a season-high eight shots. Though none found the target, that’s a rarity for Kvaratskhelia, who’s put a solid 43.1% of his shots on net across his first full year in Ligue 1. He’s had a great Champions League campaign so far, netting in the wins over Atalanta and Leverkusen, and he scored in the 2024-25 final. The Georgian has particularly excellent chemistry with Vitinha, who has more playmaking responsibility than any other player in the Champions League.
Meanwhile, despite a downright heroic six-save effort by Philipp Köhn, Les Mónegasques simply don’t have an excellent defense. They’ve allowed the third-most expected goals of any team to advance to the knockout phase, and they’ve been particularly vulnerable against fast-breaks, in which Kvaratskhelia can use his speed to thrive. Plus, right-back Vanderson receives the most inconsistent playing time of the four starters in the first leg, and he hasn’t had a great season either way, winning just 46.0% of his ground duels in the Champions League. It’s not hard to imagine Kvaratskhelia using his magical dribbling skills to get past Vanderson and fire one home.
Victor Osimhen Anytime Goalscorer (+170)
Osimhen had a pretty quiet performance despite Cimbom’s offensive outburst in the first leg against Juventus, putting only one of his three shots on target and not generating any quality chances. He subsequently sat out Galatasaray’s Süper Lig match over the weekend against Konyaspur because of a knee injury, but he’s expected to be available for Wednesday’s match. Despite the injury and the poor first leg, it’s hard to overstate the Nigerian’s talent: he’s scored in more than half of his starts in all competitions and netted four goals in Nigeria’s run to the AFCON semifinals, finishing as the Golden Boot runner-up in that competition.
It’s possible that Okan Buruk will be careful with Osimhen with a three-goal aggregate lead and either bring him off the bench or rest him entirely, but Cimbom’s road form hasn’t been great this season, so advancement isn’t a complete guarantee. He’ll also surely want to make a statement to either Liverpool or Tottenham, who await in the Round of 16. If Buruk does choose to play Osimhen, La Vecchia Signora hasn’t shown much ability to stop him and his teammates, as Galatasaray tends to be pretty patient with its build-up play and Juventus ranks dead last in interceptions per match. It also gave up three penalties in the League Phase, and Osimhen is one of the world’s better penalty-takers.
