There are just four games on the NBA schedule tonight, which tips off at 7:30 p.m. EST at Madison Square Garden. The New York Knicks are 10-1 across their last 10 contests and host a lowly Indiana Pacers squad that sits at the bottom of the Eastern Conference. The visitors did swing a big trade last week for an established talent at center though, so can Ivica Zubac and Pascal Siakam put up a fight tonight against Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns?
On DraftKings Sportsbook, New York is a 12.5-point home favorite with -600 odds to win on the Moneyline. The game total is set quite low at just 225.5 combined points.
Here are the top Pacers vs. Knicks prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for this matchup.
Best Pacers vs. Knicks player prop bets
Jarace Walker 13+ points (-125)
The Pacers aren’t winning games at the moment, but they are getting some encouraging signs of growth from a former lottery pick. Former University of Houston standout Jarace Walker was taken eighth overall in the 2023 NBA Draft but saw very little action across his first two pro campaigns, garnering fewer than 16 minutes per game in both. In his third season, he’s now averaging 23.9 minutes of action and producing career-highs of 10.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per contest. The lack of expectations in Indiana this season have proven fruitful for the 23-year-old’s development, especially as of late.
Walker has seen minutes in the high 20s and low 30s in recent weeks, producing outputs some better scoring nights of 19, 26, 16, 24 and 15 points over a handful of his last 10 games. The forward averages 15.6 PPG over this sample while shooting 50.9% on 11.2 shots per night, so the hot streak is certainly worth targeting. We’re looking at 13+ points for Walker tonight after hitting that mark in six of his last 10 appearances, and even when he’s missed, he’s come close to the line with double-digit scoring in all but one of those contests. While the Knicks are strong defensively, wing OG Anunoby is questionable and the Pacers are also looking to just let their young talent get reps at this point. I like Walker’s chances here.
Karl-Anthony Towns under 12.5 rebounds (+103)
One of the stars of the show at the Mecca of Basketball, Karl-Anthony Towns remains one of the best big men in the sport. His success as a scorer has dipped this season, but he’s engaged as ever on the boards with 11.9 rebounds per game, second-most in the league behind only Nikola Jokic. Typically, the over on his rebounding props do look good, and he has a stretch of four games in late January/early February that included four consecutive outings of 13+ boards. However, we’re targeting the under tonight and going with something of a contrarian pick.
The line of 12.5 rebounds is quite lofty, even against an Indiana group that may be without its new top big tonight. Ivica Zubac is questionable with an ankle sprain and is yet to make his debut for his new team. However, if he does play, it bodes particularly well for the under on the glass for Towns. These giants have clashed once this season, a game in which Towns recorded just 11 rebounds. In two meetings last season, the Knicks’ star pulled down 14 and 10. Going back to their only other meetings since 2021, Towns logged nine and four boards against Zubac in early 2024. Assuming the Pacers’ prized acquisition plays, I’m hammering the under on 12.5 rebounds for KAT.
